Nearly checked out of this apartment after one night - passing traffic and tourist boats docking immediately opposite make it so noisy. There is also a street light immediately under the bedroom window that stays on until dawn. You could close the shutter but then the room is stuffy unless you use noisy airconditioning. Urgh!! On the plus side the apartment is well equipped though an icetray would be a good idea. The agent who checked us in was helpful and pointed us in the right direction for some good swimming about 4kms out of the village. I would do a day visit to Perast and stay somewhere quieter.
The apartment is clean and spacious and well appointed with the most fabulous views of the Bay of Kotor and Our Lady of The Rocks Island church.
Perfect place to explore all the surrounding towns.Don't miss Petrovac.
The best part of the day is to come home, have a drink looking at the view, and decide which of several restaurants to stroll to for dinner. Our favourites where Palace Jalena next door to the apartment which cooks fabulous fish and Hotel Conte for somewhere a little more upmarket.
(Try the spaghetti with mussels and truffles-just Yum)
Of course the hotel apartment has a fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to self cater.
Only tiny down down side is there is no hairdryer which was a bit of an issue for me.So BYOHD.
What an absolutely incredible place to stay! The first thing that hits you are the views and the location - the pictures give you some idea but being there in person is truly stunning. The kitchen, living room and bedroom all have views directly onto the beautiful bay of Kotor with it's gorgeous clear water. Down the steps from the apartment, walk ten paces and you could go for a swim straight away! Perast is a charming and relaxing village with a selection of lovely restaurants and places to sunbathe and swim all along the waterfront. All within walking distance. All the windows have mosquito nets (definitely needed!) which means you can have them open at night to let the air in without worrying about getting bitten. The apartment also has air conditioning if preferred. Windows onto the waterfront mean a certain amount of noise at night but you soon get used to it and it is just part of the Perast atmosphere! Selection of books that have been left there (and now a few more since I have been) and wifi is provided if you still want to be connected to the world. Would definitely recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

We had a brilliant holiday staying here, the apartment is absolutely perfect for location and comfort. It's in an old building right in the heart of Perast and the views over the bay are stunning, we spent several evening sat in front of the Juliet balcony watching the sun go down. It's not luxuriously furnished but very comfortable and excellent value for money.
