Had a very outdated and noisy room (directly over the gym!) The bed felt dirty and the bathroom was horrible!

The personel was friendly and helpfull, but this doesnt help at all...

Checked out after 3 hours - enough said... :-(

It's central, cheap and clean but except the carpets and the elevator everything else is as old as the dinosaurs.
The bathroom door will not close, there is no hook for the shower so you have to keep it in your hand, the drain is clogged.
There is a fridge in the room but it's empty.

Everything in the bathroom looked disgusting! Not hygenic especially the bathtub. There should be some serious renewing... design should be also thought about because everything looks so unfriendly... such a disappointment for the value for money and for the name & title of the hotel... not to mention the remote for the TV wasn't working and it couldn't be replaced by another one even if we went 2 times at the reception. Lift looks like a journey to death, felt so unsecure especially when the lights weren't working as well... holes in the walls... huge ancient fridge looks so unaesthetic with stickers on it... lol... curtains look like 3rd world country... seriously, only thing that looked decent was the reception and the hallways... it's not worth the money at the moment. SORRY!

Targoviste used to be the Capital of Dacia and one of main cities of Romanian Region in old times.
in Valahia hotel they have OK rooms with usually two beds, free TV, shower, free towels, air condition, bath tub, shampoo and glass and vase for water.
and you could buy the other thing from the lobby.

Good point about Valahia is that it's 5 min from the old town and exactly in front of the hotel, there's orange store(to buy sim cards) and a Carrefour.

they have friendly staff and very kind. OK breakfast but i haven't tried their lunch or dinner to write about.

but the important thing is I really love the hotel rooms and corridors because they feel sooo ancient! and for someone in love with History like me, it's a Perfect Option!

Room Tip: choose the third floor with a view to the city! :) you'll find it amazing seeing the Blv in front of hotel specially in rainy days!
