Rock Inn was a great little place set in a beautiful setting up in the mountains in Sagada Philippines. The rooms were clean and basic with some hostel setting rooms. The staff was wonderful and helpful. In particular, they were very flexible in serving meals to my mother in the room who was having health issues. The rooms were very clean, hot water and good breakfasts. I would go there again just to be in the atmosphere of Rock Inn.

Room Tip: no elevators so if you have accessibility issues, ask for first floor

This hotel advertises itself as 100 metres off the main road: it is more like 300 metres, and some of the vehicular track is extremely rocky and hence bumpy. Not recommended at night!

The inn's seclusion means no rooster noise or dogs barking. There are two buildings but I did not ascertain the purpose of the second.

There are about 17 rooms but some are dormitory style with up to six bunks.

I had a two by double bedded room, number 3, which had been stylishly renovated with native wooden floors.

The bes was quite comfortable and the linen of pleasing, mongrammed with the hotel name quality.

The room also had a desk and chair, while the bathroom had good instant hot water in its shower but there was evidence of some mould on the bathroom ceiling and one wall. There was no fan for the bathroom so that explains the mould.

A compartmentalised shelf for belongings was in the room.

the hotel offers meals which I have reviewed separately. Strangely breakfast was not included in the P1850 per night tariff.

There is parking on site but the property lacks WiFi.

I had to politely request two groups of Filipino males - the first, cyclists at 0030 hours, the second three bathroom attendees at 0400 (!) to be quiet. They looked abashed. The noise was an interruption to an otherwise good sleep.

The meals area is both inside and outside the main building.

There are good views of the valley especially from the first floor (called 'second floor' in Philippines).

There is no heating or cooling in the room or elsewhere but the climate - for me - did not require either. Filipinos however arrived rugged up.

Room Tip: The first floor may be less noisy.

This is a fantastic place to stay and we could even park our car. The staff provided great assistance at all times (even storing or foods in the refrigerator). The room was fantastic and the shower hot and strong.
We found the lunch very expensive so we only had one meal there.

Stayed 3 nights here. The surroundings are beautiful with garden, flowers and a lot of orange trees. The place is really busy from early mornings to evening when groups of people come by van to pick oranges. Food and staff here are great. The only minus in this place is paper thin walls between rooms.

Three things we loved about Rock Inn: 1) they have a lot of super cute DOGS running around the inn, 2) their restaurant's food was so good, and 3) the peace and quiet the remote location brings.

Though it was a bit stressful that their location does not have signal (our Globe and Smart LTEs weren't working at all and sometimes we had no service), we loved our stay so much. :)

Thank you, Wanda of Rock Inn and the rest of the staff! Your service was so great.
