+ auntie nelly is a wonderful host, just like your own tita. Free coffee and milo, plus she’ll offer cakes or pastries! I tasted the lemon pie and banan muffin. Yummm
+ it’s an open-concept house from living room to dining to kitchen so it felt so warm, cozy and homey!
+ our room is comfy and big enough for us, 2 boys and my husband. A bunk bed and a queen sized one with private tb and hot water.
+ it’s a 15min walk to the main sagada so bring a flashlight.
+There’s a wonderful pasta pizza place just below the chalet and if you want to eat rice, you can order from A7, the b&b just beside it.
+ there’s also a church just beside the chalet and there’s only a 7am sunday english mass.
+ bokong falls is just a 15-30 min walk/hike from there!
- smart doesn’t have a signal there.

Sagada is a mystical place and we have been there years ago. Coming back to visit we stayed at the Chalet and the owner Nellie was very accommodating. A wide parking lot and the first floor was being prepared for a restaurant. We went up the stairs beside orchids and flowers to the hotel,. Pine paneling and furniture in the sitting room kitchen and dining room- it was a home and with wide windows that I like best. She has her family photos and memorabilia in her home which make us feel that we are her visitors and not ordinary paying guests. Our room was on the second floor, wide with toilet and shower. Aside from a queen size bed is a double deck perfect for those who bring their kids. We arrived in the afternoon and peaceful place was great for those who want to rest, our window had a nice view of the mountain side. After we came back from town, Nellie and son Luke and Bridget were just finishing dinner and invited us for dessert. I love that lemon cake. thanks a lot... We had breakfast with them the following morning and it was great brewed coffee, french toast and fish. We left really rested and feeling. Perfect host.

Room Tip: rooms open up to great views of the mountain, there is a loft which could accommodate a sizable group
