We stayed here because our flight over the nazca lines got cancelled due to high winds.
The hotel is clean and the staff efficient.
Food simple and has a home cooked feel.
There is a nice garden and a place for the kids to run around.
All in all not bad.

The rooms of the hotel really need an urgent facelift. The rooms and the bathroom are very big, but for $75 really the rooms should be a bit more comfortable and the bathroom operational. The shower head was broken and only about a drip of water coming out of it. The room is cold in winter and the bed has seen better times. Otherwise the hotel is nice and typical and very quiet.the breakfast is appalling once again for the money you pay, one of the worse I have ever found. So in summary great potential but certainly they need to invest some money to adequate it to the 21sr century or adapt the price for what you pay

We spend there one night and one quite long day. The room was great and the hotel facilities excellent. We arrived at night to do the Nasca line plane trip in the morning. That ended up quite soon and after walking around the city for a while and having lunch we headed back to the hotel. The night before we had asked if we could do a late check out and/or use the hotel installations (pool, garden, changing room, ...) until it was time to go to the bus station later that night. They agreed to the use of the facilities but they told us that we had to leave the room early because they had another client checking in. Well, after loooong hours in the pool and surroundings we saw the cleaners starting to clean the room at around 18:00! Nobody checked in the room by the time we left the hotel at 20:00. So considering that we were traveling with a young kid they could have been flexible and allowed us to use the room for just a bit longer.

Most people come to Nasca for the lines only.
This is true, the lines is the main attraction, but there are other attractions to see.
Nasca is hot and dry - the hotel pool got a great work-out from us while we stayed for 3 nights.
The restaurant is excelent - we had dinner there the 3 nights we stayed. Tasty and reasonably priced.
The hotel also booked our Nasca lines flight for us too - very convenient.
The room itself was big and roomy.
The beds however, were way too soft and uncomfortable - could see it was just a very old bed - just needs a replacement.
Overall a good hotel to stay in when visiting Nasca

Hidden away down a dirt side street, this truly is an Oasis in the desert. The rooms are big, clean and airy The staff are warm and friendly, and even though we only stayed one night they went out of their way to help us, checking up on our Nasca Lines flight for us, arranging a late breakfast for when we got back from the flight (A must do excursion if in Peru). We enjoyed the pool as a refreshing treat from out long desert drive. The breakfast was fresh bread rolls, jam, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit juice and coffee. The hotel is full of interesting corners and décor, scattered with antiques and great art work. We loved watching the humming birds early in the morning.

Room tip: Set your satnav, you wont find signs to this hotel.
