Very swish decor! Beautiful lobby and room. Strong shower pressure, large flat screen smart tv. They upgraded my room which was a nice surprise! I was in room 212. There was a fridge, microwave, safe, pressing iron.
Even though they offer room service for a small additional fee of N1500, there's no menu in the room.
A serious downside was the constant cutting out of electricity!! I only booked the room for a day, as I was going to the airport that same evening but in the 7 hours I was there, the electricity cut out approximately 6 times!! Each time it took at least 5 minutes before it switched to the generator, so I found that extremely frustrating. It also meant that the tv was constantly rebooting so I couldn't even relax and watch a decent programme properly.
For such a grand hotel they need to invest in an inverter so that the switch over is seamless. This is the only reason I may not stay there again.
Apparently it's only been newly open since December 2023. It has an underground car park which can accommodate about 20 cars. Car park staff and Reception staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming.
I didn't use the gym so cannot comment. The bar area on the ground floor looked lovely and relaxing too. Taxi to the airport took only about 15/20 minutes.
If you don't mind the electricity issue then you'll love this hotel.
