I stayed at citilodge on 24th Feb 2016 for a night on a recommendation from my cousin whom his driver made the reservation. I checked in about 7pm that night with my cousin's driver, the receptionist did not make an attempt to welcome me as I walked into the hotel and proceeded to the room allocated to me with the driver who had the key.
on entry the room, I was welcome with a bad smell and I asked if they could spray the room with an airfreshner and they did.
On settled down into the room and went into the bathroom to have a shower, discovered the shower was not working and tried to call the reception to reports the faulty shower and the non-working bedside lambs and plugs and fuses in the room but couldn't get through to the reception as the line was engaged.
So, I had to wait for the driver to return back from his errand after 2hrs to get him to get someone to come and have a look at the faulty shower.
They couldn't do anything to fix the shower and the only thing they could give me was a bucket to use for my shower. At this point, I noticed a little patch of water in the bathroom near the floor drainage.
in the morning, I went into the bathroom to have my shower, the bathroom was more like a flood site, again proceeded to call the reception to report the flood, the line was engaged again and I had no choice but to go out of my room with a towel wrapped around me and stood at the edge the of the stairs and shouted out for someone to come into my room RM 217.
A youngman came and I showed him the flood of water in the bathroom, he apologised and asked if he could wipe the floor, I told him to come back as I was about to have my bath and he left.
He did not return back to clean the room and on checking out that morning, I saw the front desk manager, explained to him my experience of the hotel and showed him the state of my room. He apologised sincerely and asked if could stay one more night and said, you should have breakfast at least.
Well, I was not aware breakfast provided as I was not attended to on checking into the hotel the previous night.
The service was extremely and the customer care at all. I feel that I just paid my hard earned money to be punished and abused by the staff at this hotel and this should not happen again to someone else.
