The staff is very qualified, friendly and hospitable. The environment was peaceful even though the Lekki-Epe Expressway is close, the power supply was constant.
The hotel is very well situated, Elegushi beach, cinemas/shopping malls are not far from its location.
There is free wifi available for as long as you stay. The pool area is also nice, when you need to refresh yourself and relax.
I really recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon.

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend for four nights in April. The best thing for me about the hotel was how helpful the staff were. Among other things, we had a problem with our booking which was not their fault, but they were great about helping us resolve this. In addition, the staff were all polite and friendly and gave helpful suggestions for what to see/do in the area.
The food was lovely as well (particularly the fish with ginger sauce!), and the room was nice and comfortable. Perhaps the AC could have been a bit quieter, but it didn't bother us too much.
I would say however (and this was not a fault of the hotel staff) that if you use the airport shuttle make sure the driver goes to the right terminal. I told him several times that we needed to go to the domestic terminal for a flight to Abuja, but he still dropped us at the international, and as I don't really know the airport I wasn't aware. If he hadn't heard me/misunderstood my accent fine, but in that case he SHOULD HAVE ASKED!

I stayed at citilodge on 24th Feb 2016 for a night on a recommendation from my cousin whom his driver made the reservation. I checked in about 7pm that night with my cousin's driver, the receptionist did not make an attempt to welcome me as I walked into the hotel and proceeded to the room allocated to me with the driver who had the key.
on entry the room, I was welcome with a bad smell and I asked if they could spray the room with an airfreshner and they did.
On settled down into the room and went into the bathroom to have a shower, discovered the shower was not working and tried to call the reception to reports the faulty shower and the non-working bedside lambs and plugs and fuses in the room but couldn't get through to the reception as the line was engaged.
So, I had to wait for the driver to return back from his errand after 2hrs to get him to get someone to come and have a look at the faulty shower.
They couldn't do anything to fix the shower and the only thing they could give me was a bucket to use for my shower. At this point, I noticed a little patch of water in the bathroom near the floor drainage.
in the morning, I went into the bathroom to have my shower, the bathroom was more like a flood site, again proceeded to call the reception to report the flood, the line was engaged again and I had no choice but to go out of my room with a towel wrapped around me and stood at the edge the of the stairs and shouted out for someone to come into my room RM 217.
A youngman came and I showed him the flood of water in the bathroom, he apologised and asked if he could wipe the floor, I told him to come back as I was about to have my bath and he left.
He did not return back to clean the room and on checking out that morning, I saw the front desk manager, explained to him my experience of the hotel and showed him the state of my room. He apologised sincerely and asked if could stay one more night and said, you should have breakfast at least.
Well, I was not aware breakfast provided as I was not attended to on checking into the hotel the previous night.
The service was extremely and the customer care at all. I feel that I just paid my hard earned money to be punished and abused by the staff at this hotel and this should not happen again to someone else.

We thank you for taking time to provide feedback on your recent stay at our hotel and also acknowledge with dismay that you were not pleased with our services.
Firstly, we must apologise for this unusual situation and inconvenience to you. Our investigation reveal that the bad smell experienced was as a result of the monthly fumigation we had a day prior to the date in issue. Although the room was aired out thoroughly, unfortunately the odour was not totally eliminated. As we did upon your complaint, we now realise the need to always spray our room with de-odourizer air freshener after fumigation. Kindly be assured that this experience is now a thing of the past. With regards to the shower, we noticed that nothing was really wrong with it except that the setting was faulty and this was indeed the cause of water found on the floor the next morning. We sincerely apologise for this experience.
Concerning breakfast - it is standard in our hotel that our rooms come with breakfast. However in this particular instance, you will recall that another person actually made the reservation, filled our registration form, paid and collected the key to the room. So when you arrived at the hotel, he led you straight to the room and this robbed us of the opportunity to formally welcome or interact with you.
In all, we do apologise sincerely and can assure you that the issues raised have been addressed, lessons learnt and we promise that the shortcomings will not reoccur again.
