We stayed a week at Sensi. Great place, friendly service. Very clean. We liked our secluded villa, looking out to the ocean. The resort has a small, but super clean beach and great snorkeling right in front (two beautiful, not dangerous reef sharks living right there as well!). The restaurant offers delicious Thai food in a very romantic atmosphere on a large balcony, enjoy breathtaking sunsets from there...

We stayed at Sensi Paradise for 4 nights. Considering the level of service provided, I think this hotel could be rated 4-5 stars!

It is located so conveniently at the south end of Sairee beach. You could walk to the pier/town through the beach in 5 minutes. Yet, it is so private and isolated with a magnificent surroundings. Our room was the garden view. Although it didn't have the sea view, it was still beautiful. The garden is beautifully designed and well kept, and bungalows are well spread out with space for their own. So, you just feel very serene surrounded by tue greenery. We had a chance to change our room to the pool view or sea view, but we sticked with the garden view because it was so peaceful. The entire hotel ground is beautiful, and there's so much attention to details. I am a very visual person, and I was so satisfied and pleased just walking around this hotel ground.

Their service is the most excellent. We were picked up by the taxi from the pier at arrival and greeted by the reception hosts with cold drinks at the entrance. Then, they transported us to our room and moved all our luggages to the room for us. Their breakfast is served by the beach, and it was well prepared. The room provides new beach towels everyday and mats you can use to block the heat from the sand. The dinner at the restaurant cooks the most delicious thai food! Try steamed fish, grilled king prawns or fried squid! I will give 10/10 for the taste, attentiveness of the service (Naing was our waiter for every dinner, and he was wonderful) and view from the restaurant. They packed a breakfast for us the night before after our dinner when we told the waiter that we were leaving in the early morning. For the departure, we were dropped off by the same taxi at the pier.

Only thing I would say for the future guests that are considering to stay at Sensi Paradise is:
- The beach is swimmable, but probably not the best beach to swim. It is more for the view as it is close to the pier with many many boats in the water. But, the view is fantastic, especially at sunset.
- The pool area is beautiful, but the water is warm (we were there at the hottest time of the year). It's nothing major, but, if you're looking for a refreshing cold water to swim in, just something to note. But, it's perfect for relaxing as they have many chairs and oh it's just so beautiful.
- If you are planning to book a trip or hire a boat, you will pay less if you go out to the town and arrange it yourself with an agency or boat captains.

Otherwise, it's a tropical island and the bungalows are in a jungle like setting. So, set your expectations accordingly, then you will be surprised in wonderful ways!

As far as location is concerned this must be one of the most conveniently located resorts on the island. Just out of the town's bustle but right next to it. With it's own private beach area, swimming pools, great restaurant, superior service and great accommodation, we can only recommend Sensi. It is on the "quie"t side of the pier, but within a brisk walk or short taxi ride to the busy night vibe of Suree Village and beach. We loved it here and will be back!

My boyfriend and I spent three nights here in May. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised as the hotel seemed much more luxurious than we had imagined (especially for the price).

The secluded bungalows are romantic and make you feel like you're really surrounded by the beautiful nature of Koh Tao. Sensi is very close to the pier - if you want to be partying you're probably better off at sairee beach, but we wanted to chill out away from all that so location was perfect.

What really made it for us was the staff, and therefore I'm very surprised at some people on Trip Advisor complaining about this. We found there were lots of staff around at all times, and, from giving us a complimentary cold drink on arrival to offering to pack us a breakfast as we were leaving very early, they went beyond expectations. The manager was slightly curt on leaving, but it was 5am.

The hotel offers a pickup and drop-off service to the pier, and has a small private beach which was lovely and clean and with shallow waters. There's a restaurant which we rated highly (fresh fish caught on the day that you can decide how you want cooked) and a beach bar and pool bar where you can order drinks and food. The pool is lovely, clean, not too crowded.

The bungalow was clean and had a soft bed with mosquito net all the way around. We had the odd gecko which was a treat for us but the room guide said reception would move any 'visitors' if you're not a fan! While we were there we went scuba diving with Dive Wishes which was great.

All in all we'd definitely go back!
