Booked three nights here. Wish it was longer. The location is at the very end of the beach away from the ‘youngsters’ part but close enough to walk there if you want to.
The rooms are great. Clean and modern. Linen and towels are lovely and clean. Shower is great.
Food is good. Ate here last night and really good.
Service is always with a smile and genuinely nice people.
Beach is lovely. Ample sun beds. Nice and quiet. You can sit there and watch the long boats come in.
Sad to leave. Don’t hesitate in booking this. I’m really fussy and can’t find fault with this place.

We stayed there in December from 25-29 and had a standard bungalow and because it was right after Christmas the stanadard bungalow was double the regular price 2500 baht. 2500 baht for a sticky and old standard bungalow. The ventilator was very rusty. The door didnt close properly. Wifi was very bad - only worked close to their facilities. The bungalow had a bad odour.

The food was surprisingly very good even though the restaurant area didnt look inviting and was messy.

We were initially staying at the Montra Resort which we felt was far too close to the main pier so being on the beach wasn't relaxing. We then went to Silver Sands but it was incredibly noisy throughout the day and evening particularly with the vibrant night life. We then stumbled on Palm Leaf which is about a 10 minute stroll into the main part of Sairee so close enough to enjoy all that town had to offer but nice and quiet for relaxation time. We ended up staying here for nearly two weeks.

The staff were always on hand whenever we needed them as the air con stopped working once and the rooms were always cleaned to a very good standard.

I would suggest opting out of the breakfast (unless it's included) as this felt quite inadequate with their 'special' menu. For a few extra baht we could find much more wholesome breakfasts elsewhere.

I'd be keen to go back if we find ourselves in Koh Tao again.

I didn't stay here, however, after searching around for a personal long tail boat to book to Koh NangYuan, Palm Leaf Resort ended up being a savior! In town companies and individuals were asking for a lot for the service and when it came to individuals, we were unsure of just how reliable they would be. When we stumbled upon Palm Leaf Resort, one of the women at the front was extremely helpful in assisting us with the hire of a boat. It cost only $9 per person and I was able to pay with credit card which was a great convenience! The morning that we scheduled, the boat was ready and waiting for us with snorkel gear that he provided.

We really appreciated the help and kindness we received here! Thanks :)

Wonderful location. Clean rooms, friendly reception ladies. So the restaurant service is a bit slow and the breakfast ain't the best but that was fine by me. Location, location, location. There's plenty of choice nearby, a great dive school and you're only a ten minute walk into the centre.
We loved it and would go back in a heart beat.
