I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Only good thing about this hotel is its location in Tonsai bay area, rest everything about this hotel is average

Cons:
1)Very old fashioned rooms (not worth for the price of THB 4200/pn)
2)Extremely hard bed and pillows
3)Very cheap quality toiletries (DON'T USE THEM)
4)They give only 2 water bottles per room per day in such harsh summers also.
5)Breakfast spread is mediocre
6)Only 5 sun beds around the pool. Trust me it is a bad factor as once you are out of pool you have no where to sit.
7)Very old fashioned bathroom
8)Rude hotel staff
9)Cheap old towels

I would not recommend anyone for this hotel as price doesn't justify ROI. If still you want to stay carry your toiletries, towel, buy water bottle etc etc....

Room Tip: Check for Pool view rooms.

I was a guest some days in this Resort and I had a good time. The Resort has a good location near the beach is nicely arranged, there is a nice gym, the rooms are large and well appointed but the swimming pool despite being beautiful had too much chlorine in the water. The breakfast had little choice, would be much better if they had something more. I still say that I enjoyed, did not spend much and had a good time

While we were selecting our hotel in Phi Phi, we realized that the hotel standard are different on Phi Phi compared to Phuket or anything else in Thailand. It must be accepted. Some reviews are said “the furniture are old and outdated”. This is true for Banyan Villa as well, but it’s the same everywhere on Phi Phi in this price range and I think this gives the charm and the magic on Phi Phi. It’s not old, but authentic and fits more to an “untouched” island.

The location of the hotel is excellent, only a few minute walk from the pier. By the way there are only pavements on the island, no roads, cars, bikes! We booked our room in the garden wing and we absolutely didn’t experienced any noise during the night. Only silence, besides the air conditioning system. The room was okay, the bed was clean and we didn’t find anything which could make us to regret our decision to choose some other hotel than Banyan Villa on Phi Phi.

The restaurant for breakfast is located in front of the hotel, on the beach. Beautiful view on the bay in the morning. Breakfast itself was simple and average, I wouldn’t go back because of the food only. :)

We didn’t use the facilities of the hotel, only the towels what they provided. It has a great and huge gym as far as I heard.

Which is amazing is the garden of the hotel. Many types of bushes, trees, colorful flowers and all of them were well maintained. We saw many guys cutting and watering them all the time, they really put effort in it, but it shows a great result! English parks could look just simple backyards compared to it. No offense. :)

Room Tip: The garden wing was quiet and peaceful.

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, nice pool and garden area. Big airconditioned gym with newish well functioning gym equipment. Located right next to Tonsai pier, restaurants and markets. Despite the central location, our hotelroom was quiet. Also enjoyed the tasty breakfast buffet. No negative comments about the hotel, purely recommended for couples and families!

the location of this hotel is the best thing about this, it is right in the middle of everything, and a 5 minute walk from the boat pier.
Check-in wasn't great, no-one helped with our bags and the receptionist said our room was on the first floor, so after walking around everywhere we finally found it at the back of the property on the ground floor.
We got the feeling that guests weren't to be trusted (maybe as phi phi is mostly student backpackers giving a very university feel, perhaps this may be the case) we had to carry paper cards for breakfast, hand in our key each time we left the hotel and hand in the faded old beach towels at 8pm, or they called to your room and asked for them!
The pool is definitely a positive, and they take alot of care and attention with the plants and gardens, making it a very pretty place to stay. However there are only around 6 sunbeds so worth going to the beach.
You can use the next door gym/sauna/steam room, which is very modern and very nice, however it is separate sauna/steamrooms for male and female, so for a couple not really worth it.
Wifi was average, and having to log-in everytime it loses signal or you return back became quite annoying.
Across the street is where you have breakfast, which is quite average, you have to really make a point of entering and sitting down making sure the staff see you, or you wont be served. The food for the restaurant in the evening was very nice though.
