Stayed here for 3 nights in Nov 2010.

Location: Perfect 1 min walk from the pier, I remember seeing people dragging their luggage to their hotel further away, This won't be you!

Rooms: Comfortable, clean, good bed and clean bathroom, We had a view of the pier, we would have preferred views of the beach on the other side.

Service: At check in, you MUST have a copy of your receipt or email confirmation, saw another couple didn't have it, and they wouldn't let them check in without it, so they had to go on the internet to print it out. Also you are required to drop off your key every time you leave the hotel, but there is always someone there who will give it back to you when you return. Also, you will need to sign your name when you take towels from reception.

Buffet breakfast: Not much variety, incl fruit, yoghurt, fried rice, bacon, toast. Eat in a dining room with big round tables where the decor looks outdated.

We didn't use the pool as the beach is only a 3 minute walk. The restaurants near the pier side can be quite pricey but offer fresh seafood, hotel gives you a discount voucher, however food is cheaper towards the centre of phi phi island.

They have no elevators and the stairs are STEEP, so beware.

It was definitely a nice place to stay, especially after 1 night when we got wasted at the beach bars (they offer free buckets/drinks at certain times) and we stumbled our way back to the hotel, but even at 3am in the morning, it was quite safe walking through the small streets that only bicycles are allowed. You won't see any cars!

Room Tip: You can either choose rooms facing the beach or the pier. Ask for lower rooms if you have problems...

The rooms are good, clen and nice, especially of u ask for a sea view room when booking at a higher floor 4 or 5, the disadvantage os that these rooms are twin but u can put the beds together
They did not really clean the floor of the room unless you tell them, other than that clean towels every day and free drinking water.
Breakfast is ok, thai style, eggs or omlette, noodles, rice, bacon, fresh fruits and yogurt, everywhere in thailnd it is pretty much the same unless ugo for 5 star hotels or international chains.
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again because of its location, 2 min from the pier and close to all bars and restaurants.
However if u want a more romantic, out of the town accomodation, go for the paradise pearl resort on long beach, about the same price for a sea view bungalow that looks quite good.

coming off the pier, a short 2 min stroll brought us to the hotel, situated bang in between Tonsai & Dalam Bays, in and around all the shops, restuarants & bars etc.

whichever room you are given, the view will be nothing short of spectacular, with Tonsai one side and Dalam the other side. My only complaint - NO ELEVATORS, doubled with very heavy luggage meant a bit of a chew on. The porters we not exactly inviting to help us with our luggage either, which was truly bizarre for a complex with no lifts !!! Luckily the hotel is only 5 floors high so not too bad lol.

The rooms were adequate, comfortable, clean, nice bathroom and represent good value for money. If you want the hustle & bustle of 'downtown' Phi Phi Don, this is the place for you.
If you want the quieter side of Phi Phi, the high end resorts on the north east of the island will tickle your fancy, but at nearly treble the cost !!!!!

Room Tip: if you don't like stairs, choose a lower floor - NO LIFTS/ELEVATORS !!!!!

I was a bit worried when I first booked this hotel thinking it is quite central and might be noisy, but no it was just perfect. We had a sea view room that offered spectacular view of the surroundings (pic attached). The downside is that their sea view rooms are all twin bed which we weren’t exactly happy about but we knew about it right from the start when we did the booking!!!!

It is not the fanciest I’ve seen but in Phi Phi there aren’t really fancy hotels unless you go to Long beach or the other side of the Island where Holiday Inn is (which is really far from the restaurants and bars)

I would definitely stay there again.
