Everyone's reviews are correct, the woman at reception must have all of YouTube covered. We checked in and sat around waiting, I thought we weren't allowed to our rooms yet, but the staff just hadn't showed us to them or told us we can actually go up. Not very polite or friendly either. The room was standard, clean. The only problem was that the fan in the bathroom was litteraly in the wall, so there was hole in the wall of he bathroom, letting mosquitos etc get in. The bathroom had a few ants in and the balcony they advertise is not much of a balcony at all more like a foot space. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was alright good location it's about a 2 minute walk to the pier, if that. Many of the hotels on phi phi are pretty worn down its only a small Island, we payed around £17for this hotel and I wouldn't pay more, we're going back to phi phi and the prices have gone up to £22 not a nice enough hotel to pay that. Would stay here though if the price is as cheap as ours was

It is the one of the closest place to the pier. We stayed in a three person bedroom and it was spacious for three people, both the room and the toilet. Water pressure is good.

Even though it is pretty much on one of the main alleys it is not as noisy as you'd think, rather the area around it gets quieter than most places after 9 pm or so.

But then the sound goes through the corridor. If you happen to have a loud backpackers hangout in the next room then it will bother you.

Air conditioning sort of beams on one bed and not the other.

In general, I would stay here for the three person bedroom again. I presume the bad reviews are from two person bedroom..? I am not sure.

Bare basic room, with some stains on the bed sheet, aged walls, creaking wardrobe and old pipes. Room ventilation was poor and it feels like the smell of wet clothes from previous occupants is trapped in the room.
Bathroom is small - shower is over the toilet and the toilet paper, the shower pipe length was also short and restrictive, shower tap is located high above.
The sound rings loud in the pipes when the toilet above you is showering. (We initially thought it was raining outside). Definitely not a place recommended for families.

The plus for this place is located very near to the pier, so good if you are leaving very early in the morning, still the price is high vs the quality of room you are getting. The reception is helpful and is also a booking agent for many tours.

The room was tiny, the bathroom could barely fit a sink/toilet/shower in, so much so the shower was basically over the top of the toilet meaning everything in the bathroom got soaked when having a shower.

The shower was cracked spraying water in different directions, the sink was cracked, and there was a horrible smell when turning the shower on. There was no hot water in either the shower or the sink.

The description also said that there would be a large double bed, the bed was definitely not large and was a small double at best and not comfortable.

There was also no view, the curtain when opened simply showed a wall.

For the price tag this 'hotel' is a rip off, the only thing it offers is a close proximity to the port and wifi which for £35+ a night is a lot to pay for what you get if you compare to other places I have stayed in Koh Phi Phi.
