We stayed here for 3 night in early September and enjoyed it. This is not the Ritz so don't expect top quality but it was clean and enjoyable. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the rooms were adequate and the pool is a nice way to cool off following and afternoon of site seeing in the nearby wats. You can rent bicycles and motor scooters from the hotel at fairly reasonable rates and there is a nearby Thai massage shop that has great massages for reasonable rates (no, not those kind of massages but rather traditional Thai massages).
The restaurant is OK but there are many places to eat that are more interesting and offer a greater diversity of food. I ate the breakfast at the guest house everyday and had no complaint but we went out each evening to a street market or a restaurant for local cuisine.
The air con rooms are a bit more expensive but even so they are a good value and you won't get stung here for a room. Overall impression is good and I would stay here again if I came through Ayutthaya on another trip.More
