We have spent 3 weeks in travelling through Southern India and whilst the whole experience has been good, Our stay at Villa Retreat has been our favourite so far, the location, the people and the facilities are all extraordinary. Thank you!!
We had a fantastic experience during my stay at Villa Retreat. The staff were welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable.The check-in process was smooth.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The views from the window were stunning, which made my mornings even more enjoyable. The fireplace was an great experience on cold nights.
Coakers walk and Bryant Parks gate is just outside the hotel. Lake is also at walkable distance.
The hotel room and common areas were well-maintained and clean.
The bed and pillows were comfortable.
The hotel offered excellent amenities, including breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel's location was convenient.
lovely property with charming views. Great food curated by chef Shadab supported by a very attentive staff. Special shout out to Manish and manoj. The location is fantastic...in close proximity to a number of Kodai landmarks. Will visit again
The location of this place is absolutely fantastic and central as is the view and the service and we fully enjoyed these aspects of our stay to the fullest.
The bone I have to pick with them is regarding the bed in our room. We had booked the Signature Suite and naturally we expected the facilities of this room to be of a certain quality. The bed/mattress unfortunately was concave leaving both my husband and my backs in so much pain. It’s been 4 days since my return and it is my back pain that reminded me to write this review so you can imagine how bad the bed was.
We expect to be refreshed after a trip as this and not come back more tired than we were before we went there.
I truly hope that they look into this matter(or mattress) and change what needs to be changed because a decent bed and lump-less pillows are bare minimum for a room priced at what this is priced at.
The place definitely deserves a 5 star review if not for this but we can’t skimp on the basics now can we.
