One of the best resorts in Kodaikanal in the budget category. Rooms are in different categories with balcony. Three and Four bedded rooms are available which would be suitable for a family. Fire place and children play area are present at the backside of the hotel. Indoor games available. Restaurant has good views. Overall a neatly maintained property with good service. I had mixed experience at this hotel.
Good part about the property is good location, clean rooms, amenities provided in decent cost. They have restaurant, indoor games, kids play area, and outdoor seating arrangement to have food while enjoying great valley view.
Not so pleasant part is lack of food quality in restaurant and unavailability of hot water for most of the times.
Guests are recommended to check the TV, hot water in rooms while checin.

In the meantime, I just wanted to add one thing that based on various guests feedback on the steep road thru MM Street, we have laid a new concrete road via Sivanadi Road recently. We had a very good and comfortable stay in sunshine and were pleased by the hospitality of the management .The cleanliness of the rooms were remarkable even in the off season. Complimentary breakfast was also very tastier.

Very nice place in the hotel.......good view rooms.all staff was very good..food is very nice..and first time coming the hotel..good balcony rooms ..are frendly through ....thank you so much to sunshine hotel....
Good quality of accommodation is in the Hotel. I got accommodation front side of the Hotel. Entrance is very steep. Hotel is situated in prime location where there is peace, cal m quite. Scenic beauty can be viewed from Hotel balcony

Just for information, (1) Not to take Zion School/MM Street route as it is steep and regular hill drivers can only have a smooth drive (2) Based on our regular guests feedback, We are putting up a new concrete road just behind the property as 'IN" gate and the current entrance will be notified as "OUT" gate. However, our request to all the guests to take Main Lake road-BSNL Office-Convent Road-Naidupuram entrance and then take a right diversion ie. road which is going to Kurinji Andavar Temple then follow our display board. OR pls call the hotel for a proper routing... Thank you
Good quality of accommodation hotel..and mind full peace surrounding areas are available.. very likely places i like it.. most beauty of nature seeing and indian foods are available the hotel hot and cool.
