This inn is located in the centre of Bundi, a very short walk to the palace, with many restaurants in the vicinity. The closest parking is at the palace.
Our room was on an upper floor, just below the roof top restaurant. There are many steep stairs to get up there. Although advertised as a "palace view" suite, the only window looks straight onto a public walkway/stairs, and then across to the Palace. This made leaving the curtains open not desirable due to a lack of privacy. The views from the restaurant were stunning, with a 360 degree panoramic view over the old town and Palace.
Our room was very nicely decorated, but a bit small. It was quiet. The bathroom is a wet room. Bottled water was provided in the room. The air conditioning and fan worked well. The old wood doors really add character, but do little to keep mosquitos out at night, as there are large gaps around the doorway.
It seemed understaffed during our stay. There was only one man who did everything: helping with luggage, cooking meals, cleaning rooms.... This meant that service was extremely slow, even when we were the only ones in the restaurant. The manager operating the reception area was only involved in checking us in and out. For a place that only accepts cash, they had difficulty making any change for large bills.

Breakfast was really sparse, and took a long time. Other meals offered looked better on the menu, than the real thing. But they may be the only place in town offering non-vegetarian dishes. It seemed you had to pre-order meat dishes in the morning, for dinner that night, as their availability was variable.More
