I have been three time at this hotel and now I’m writing the first time a review. I always found it till now it’s the best place to stay in Bundi with the great lake view. The lake is a bit dirty but it’s india and it’s not the fault of the hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are very clean and lovely painted . I can highly recommend this place to stay

Awesome place to visit with lots of waterfalls in its surroundings like bhimlatt and rameshwaram. Hotel has good food with awesome taste and the services are allso good and ut has awesome views from hotel like on one side it has Bundi fort and in other side it has a beautiful lake,rooms are allso really beautiful as it has touch of a heritage look.There are more
Very nice rooms and views. Really enjoyed my stay over here. I would love to come again. They have a very nice room service. Their food tastes awesome. He view of the lake was also awesome. I would highly recommend Nawal Sagar if someone visits Bundi.
Pros: Starting the day by having breakfast with this lake view! Very clean, tall ceiling, nicely decorated room. Very good location too! It was better than many other places we have stayed in India.
Cons: A bit outdated
During a recent three days in Bundi stayed at the Nawal Sagar Palace. It is a charming, clean and well cared for hotel in the interesting town of Bundi. The owner is present and works very hard to make sure everyone is well cared for. The food is well above average and varied. Bundi itself is a very interesting town in Rajasthan with few tourists. Wandering the streets and alleyways was a delight. Highly recommended.
We stayed for two weeks and had a fab time at this great hotel. Sitting at the foot of the palace and alongside the lake/water tank, it's a perfect location.
The building has a lot of history as it was once connected to the palace. It had lain empty and unloved for years until the current owner took it on. A great job has been done with the renovations and it is now a lovely place to stay.
We were attracted by the garden, a lush green lawn with well tended borders. Good to have somewhere to sit outside and relax.
Our room was comfortable, tastefully decorated, enough furniture to unpack properly and spotlessly clean. No shortage of hot water.
The owner, Mickey and his wife were really friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed a couple of cooking lessons, they took us to an ancient temple one evening and were very kind.
Food was very good and the staff were friendly.
I'd highly recommend this place and we'd stay here again with no hesitation.
