This restaurant is opposite Partition Museum and very close to Golden Temple. Food is decent, service quick. Unfortunately, I had heard so many good things about it that in the end, it was a letdown. Nevertheless, the good is by no means good. They have to keep up with times and apart from tradition Punjabi fare, they are serving all kinds of food item and that probably had an impact on quality of the food.

Every e rikshaw or auto will highly recommend brother's dhaba (may be they get commission) , it is next door to Bharawan dhabha a break away group .The menu is same as any delhi restaurantrt plus pizza, burger etc.It is near Golden temple complex so people do not have much option to taste authentic amritsari food.

Instead one should go to market next door and have real street food being served near by thela inclduing AMritsari kulch at fraction of brother dhaba rates (naby shopkeepers /cloth merhants will recommend you)

If one is from Delhi he will come out after seeing the menu as one eats same things every day in Delhi.

It seems except Non veg all dhabhas in Amritsar/eateries are much hyped nothing authentic to offer or go in for street food for real taste .

Finding a reason to visit Amritsar?
You've got one more now.
The Amritsari Kulcha at Brother's Dhaba is heavenly. It is served with chole and dahi/raita and it is a must visit.
It is One of the oldest and the most reputed restaurants in Amritsar and is just 10 minutes from Golden Temple.
Happy eating!

This place is located right near the heritage walk, opp to the partition museum. You can start your day here with a sumptuous breakfast and move onto the partion museum, jallianwala bagh and golden temple or the other way round(start with golden temple and finish of with a lunch), if you are not planning to have the langar. Food is very good, decent ambience, and good service. The place is mostly crowded. The stuffed parathas and Kulchas are a must try. They can work on speeding up the service.

This Dhaba was close to our hotel so chose to eat her on our way back from the Temple. Had Aloo Mutter and Veg Jalfrezi with naan. The Jalfrezi was amazing the best flavoured I have ever had. The staff were friendly in what was a busy pace to eat.
