would like to give a feedback for that stay, it was just not what CIS
tag line says' BE OUR GUEST'.
After Check Inn, I entered the room, and there was some strange sound
coming continuously, since I had changed the temp of AC, so I thought
that the sound is coming bec of that, but when it reached the set temp,
the sound still continued, I got a call from front desk, checking with
me about the room, I asked them about the noise,he sent a engg guy, and
to my surprise he said that the Smoke detector's battery is weak, and
that is making noise. As per my knowledge that the hotel was running on
a full house, the room would have also been made some time back, before
me entering and the noise was also easily heard from outside, it cannot
be that the battery went weak the moment i entered in. The engg guy
brought a shabby ladder in an occupied room and changed the battery
(atleast when a guest is in the room something presentable should have
brought in). Then a big surprise next morning, the BREAKFAST. I just
have one word to say - PATHETIC, we stayed for 3 nights and all 3 days
it was bad, I know you were running on a 100% occupancy, but what I feel
that service standards should not be compromised, I am saying this
because I also work at a hotel and in F&B department only. But nothing
was right at your breakfast restaurant. We entered in, chose our own
seats,which was the least dirty(as all empty tables had soiled dishes on
them,no table was cleared). we took a seat, none of your staff, not even
manager(guy in coat) was even bothered to check if we had cutlery's even
on our tables. I had to ask for cutlery first, we got it, then we had to
ask for water, then sugar, then butter and jam, and in all this a
steward comes to our table, we thought that he will ask for tea/coffee.
But to our surprise he came and told us-Sir, the buffet is closed, do
you want to take anything else.
Instead of asking us the tea/coffee which is essential for any guest's
breakfast experience, he asked about closing the buffet.
This is nothing but a sheer negligence on the part of your team. The
same things were repeated everyday during our three mornings, at your
hotel. The breakfast is the mood maker or a breaker meal for a hotel, as
the guest might or might not have other two meals in the hotel, so
hotels go out of the way, to make this meal experience a valuable one,
but not in your case.
The buffet was not at all replenished and not clean at all. Morning
Bakery not replenished, we had to ask for poori, parantha.
Now, housekeeping, we called them to service our room, before going for
breakfast, as we had to go out for some shopping straightaway after
breakfast, we came back after an hour and half and still our room was
not serviced and guy was doing it, and then after waiting for 15min
outside the room for him to complete the task, we entered in to see that
the toiletries like paper roll were not replenished.
One day we had put on the Clean my room signal and after three hours
when we came back the signal was on, and when we entered in, the room
was not serviced.
If I have to rate my experience, i would rate it 1/10.
I had another booking from 9th Oct, which I got cancelled and stayed in
at the Best western and Ista.
