“A good Place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2012

We went there for a weekend in early April2012. The place is good. The grapes were plucked from the vines. We had a tour of the processing units. The wine tasting was good tooo... I guess the best time to visit the place is February and March... It was little hot in April.. Overall a good experience.

“What a find!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2012

Hey...our friends brought us to the Sula Vineyards the day after we arrived in Nasik. Definitely worth the visit - at last a genuine chance to post a positive review ;)

We had a garlic bread and mushrooms for starters followed by pizza and a tagliatelle dish. It tasted divine although missus commented on tagliatelle being slightly overdone. The locally produced Rosé wine was crisp and light for the time of day.

The downside is the ambient heat therefore an evening meal might have been a better experience. The flies buzzing around were irritating but did not dampen the mood. We were told the authenticity stems from the fact the Italian son of the original owner continues to run the establishment.

“Nice place but the food.....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2012

Stayed at Beyond by Sula for 2 nights with a group of 12 other couples for New Years Eve in December 2011.
Beyond is about 3 mms from the winery and has 20 rooms. Each room is name after a different wine. The rooms are comfortable, large and clean. All the rooms overlook the pool and the ground floor rooms open into the garden. The staff is very courteous and helpful.
We were on a full board plan as they didn't have an a la carte menu (blackout period NYE). Apart from the breakfast buffet, the other meals were quite forgettable. They were planning to improve their menu and I hope they've done that because otherwise the resort is very nice for a 1 or 2 night break.
We did attend the New Year Eve gala night....which is definitely avoidable. The Manager Ajay was very accommodating and opened up one of their small banquet halls for us to have our own private party.
