Utopia Farmstays is a utopia one can actually embrace .. not just chase!
Rustic, rural - one can listen to the music the bullocks and the plough play in the field next to your window.. listen to and watch the variety of birds thanks to the beautiful Gangapur lake 100 mts away. Beautiful weather.. blue skies..
And thankfully NO tv!
Clean, safe, well appointed rooms with rural ambience (with "modern amenities" we urbanites are so used to ! ) .. close to wineries and restaurants that serve surprisingly delicious food.
Gayatri and I with our grandson Shiv spent 2 nights there. Shiv has asked Uncle Advait to "guard" his room .. Shiv, aged 5 has already decided to visit again. The whole family will join Shiv soon :)
A warm ambience thanks to the hosts Uttara and Advait Kher.
They are well known for restoring antiques.
Well .. U&A restored us 2 grandparents and introduced Shiv to Mother Nature. We met lots of other guests across different age groups, backgrounds. Utopia is a delightful melting pot.

Hello Sir. How are you? My parents told me about the weekend you'll visited and it was one of the rare ones where I wasn't present. The video of Rohan on the Sitar is incredible and I only wish I was there in person to see it. We had a lovely time hosting all three of you and hope to see you again soon. Warmly, Saunskruti.

The place right in between Sula and Soma Vineyard. The property is very close to Lake and is surrounded by Farms.
Adwait and Uttara have created this boutique stay option with their own hands and have used high quality desi material. The room temperature is always cooler than outside due to the clay that they have used, also the furniture is crafted with perfection and captures Indian workmanship.
The room size is large enough to accommodate 3 very comfortably. Its an absolute dream for people coming from cities to have such pleasant and peaceful environment.
Bfast and Dinner were home made, with low oil content.
The hosts made us feel like home and we had nice conversations with them and fellow travelers. When you are here, you feel like a part of a 'Cult'..which is pro-nature and going back to the roots.

This property has a water front. Serene beauty all around.
The green lawn well maintained invites you everytime you look at it.
Breakfast is the only meal served but there are nice restaurants around for meals.

Located in a beautiful natural setting, with the wonderful backdrop of lake and mountains, Utopia Farmstay offers more than just a relaxing escape. Caring hosts Adwait and Uttara bring together their special skills and experience to create a place of beauty, nurture and stimulation. Ingredients include comfortable and spacious rooms, furnished with unique pieces rescued and given new life by Adwait; delicious breakfasts prepared by Uttara; opportunities to meet interesting guests; lots of laughter and good conversation, and assistance to do as much or as little as you like. Highly recommended!

Room tip: All rooms at Utopia Farmstay offer fantastic views across the lake and towards mountains.

This has to be one of the prettiest places I have ever stayed at and my pictures don't do it full justice! Stunning, calm, serene and peaceful come to mind when you see the property. A true labor of love of the owners, Uttara and Adwait Kher, you can feel their personal attention to detail everywhere. The cottages have a rustic feel with beautiful tiled roofs and are extremely clean, spacious and tastefully appointed with woodwork lovingly restored by Adwait. Each room has a water kettle along with teabags and biscuits and it is just an unforgettable experience to sit on one of the swings and watch the sunrise with a cup of tea in hand. Uttara makes an amazing breakfast every morning that is wonderfully varied and I loved the idli-sambar she made and the most delicious apple-cinnamon cake. There are plenty of activities to do incuding hiking, or visiting the surrounding vineyards or even day trips into the city or places like Shirdi. Adwait has tons of suggestions and is very knowledgeable about the entire area. I loved how the guests and the owners gathered every morning at breakfast and sometimes in the evenings in the outdoor eating area to chat and get to know one other. The kids also seemed to have a blast playing foosball or just running around playing catch. I left feeling completely relaxed and recharged and can't wait to go back again!
