If you want to get away from It all this is a great escape. Absolutely beautiful location watching the clouds dance throughout the day. The resort staff are fabulous and more than willing to greet with a smile and to help with anything. The resort was not a 4 star compared to most standards, but it was clean and quiet which is what makes up for the other things. Bed was comfy. Bathroom water took quite a while to get hot.

Do the morning walk with Shihab. He is energetic and totally knowledgeable and passionate to teach you about the spices and Bamboo in the area. I very much enjoyed the walk with him.

One note as a solo traveller, it is a decent distance from anything so you will need to hire a driver or taxi to get to Munnar town where you could join tours. Also being there in low session there were no tours running because they needed a minimum of 2 people, so if nobody signed up it wasn't a go. Private day tours run 2000 rupees so it added up very quickly.

Wow. We stayed at Rivulet Resort for 7nights for our "mini-moon" and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the deluxe room which was absolutely beautiful. From the moment we pulled up outside when we arrived, to the second we left, everything was just perfect. We felt immediately relaxed, and came away completely refreshed and on cloud nine. Our absolute highlight was our candle light dinner in the room with most beautiful view, with incredible food, and superb service from all the staff, special thanks to F&B manager, Ajesh, shihabuddin, housekeeping & security ! It was the perfect start.I would definitely stay again and will be recommending to friends and family.
Thank you

Superb Hospitality.
Food is good.
View is excellent, foggy mountains from room etc.
Loved Kids play area, parrots, vegetable garden.

I generally don't write reviews, but this stay is really made us happy.

A special Thanks to Bharat(Executive Housekeeping) for sending our left out/forgotten clothes back to our home location.

The first thing that strikes you when you enter is the small narrow bridge across the river. And from here on you feel you are transported to another place altogether.

No high rises, only cottages and all of them having the view of the beautiful river. There is so much to do inside the resort. You need atleast 3-4 days to just enjoy the resort and its services.

Rooms are perfect, neat and the housekeeping staff are very cordial. The buffet breakfast is amazing.

Overall i haven't stayed at a better place ever.

Rivulet resort is around 10kms before munnar and easily accessible using google maps. Since we were driving, it was not difficult to reach the hotel.
Hotel has nicely done rooms similar to any standard and decent hotel. Rooms are clean and hotel displays a lot of importance to sustainable development - crockery, etc.
The highlight is the trip they organised to their plantations, which is a small combination of trekking, bird watching while looking at various spice plants.
The staff is nice, the food hot and delicious and overall a positive experience.

For any nature lover a perfect place to stay.

Room Tip: If someone is more interested in munnar, take a hotel near to munnar. All rooms in the property are good and quiet.
