To who all those will come to TripAdvisor for advice on munner .
We were firs timers to munnar and just accidentally ended up at rochas and wow.wonderful food from Indian( kebbas to nans to north and south indian food) Chinese food .
As guy from goa sea food is like no other place can come to close but rochas just made close .prawns massala for 350 wow all 5 full.food quantity is minimum for two people.
Yes service is bit slow as it is crowded .will post the picture of the menu
on our kerala trip when we was in munnar We take all meals here..very tasty food and friendly staff...first day we take meal on banana leaf to experience something new ....all dishes are very good ...must take malabar porrota and don't opt for wheat chapati because chapaties was very hard..
Visited the place yesterday and found it to be decent. Not a luxurious place but a functional restaurant.
Ordered a special biryani for myself and wifey and dal and rice for son. Biryani was delicious and good for two. Dal was cooked well but there was a flavour of raw turmeric. I have encountered this in Munnar in other places as well so will give rochas the benefit of doubt.
The meals were priced well and I found it to be reasonable
