“cruise on river mandovi”
Reviewed 15 March 2012

We were taken to river cruise in panaji by our taxi driver. it had a fee of rs 150 per person and children below the age of 4 were free. The trip was for one hour and had some nice local cultural dances during the trip which one tend miss during a trip to goa. There is also snack bar if one feel hungry or thirsty. over all nice experience. and great waters to see.

“Good place for sightseeing”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

The beauty of the Goa is here in Old Goa.. You should give at least 1 day to visit.. There are so many churches but the main old church which has its own important, is located here. You can Visit Mangeshi Temple, Which is near about 30-35 mins from old church. After That you can visit Miramar beach, Dona - Paola Beach.. as well as visit Mandovi river cruise in the evening..

Whenever you will visit Goa, You should visit Old Goa.. Really nice place..

Reviewed 5 March 2012

visit old Goa if its history of a colonial age you want to see. The old churches are well maintained and there are some old temples also to be seen. easy and cheap to access by bus from panjim. Bom jesus and se cathedral(opposite each other) were definitely the highlight of my trip

“Churches are nicer in Europe”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

Having seen churches in Europe including the ones in the Vatican it is difficult to be impressed by the ones in Goa or India in general. But if you are very interested in history and not just the buildings themselves maybe it is worth a visit.

“Much more interesting than other colonial areas in South India”
Reviewed 29 February 2012

Old Goa is quite large and there is considerable variation in architecture. Disappointed that the museum was closed when we visited.
