The hotel is located in Panjim by the beach. It is like a private beach dedicated to the hotel residents and is accessible throughout. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They are taking all the precautions to make us feel safe. We had the sea view room on the lower ground floor which was totally worth it. It had a small dedicated balcony facing the sea and a direct path to the beach. Will surely be back here for my next goa visit. More

We stayed for 4 nights. It's was a wonderful holiday, clean and maintained high level of hygiene.
The staff and their services at every level was fantastic.
The breakfast spread was great with lot of variety. Their barbeque food was super.
The pool, poolbar, beach , sport activities were very good.
Overall we had a fantastic stay.

I am currently staying at Cida de Goa.
It is a good property but the rooms are best for 1970s. There are cracks on the wall. You really cannot advertise yourself as a Taj property and have such pathetic rooms.
Initially I booked a standard room, my wife was horrified. Such a room is not expected at this price. Then upgraded to a category higher by paying some fee. Still rooms are outdated. Dont be fooled. Even if you want a traditional decor the rooms can be maintained and modernized. I have stayed at many a better resorts with half the price.
Must renowate the rooms. Ruined my Holidays. I dont know why such good reviews by many people.
Not recommended.

Pros: Location, staff friendliness, food, ambiance, hygiene, service, amenities etc.
Cons: Booking through Travel Portals without physical inspection of rooms may be upsetting, as every room is different than the other. But staff is cooperative in changing, if available.

Cidade designed by the famous architect Charles Correa has its own legacy and charm apart from a central theme and design running through, therefore the variations in room sizes and designs.
