“Oasis of coolness”
Reviewed 6 April 2012 via mobile

The two brothers Vasqi and Ernesto bring about a warmth that is compelling, be the the food or the environment- this is a Bistro where long languid meals are shared across the table, filled with laughter, excellent cocktails( the local bimbli daiquiri is exception) and wonderful food... The beauty being available through all seasons (monsoon would have to be my favorite time) Vasqi's talented generosity is at its best when he organizing special menus as surprises !
Ernesto's music selection keeps me comming back for more...what can I say ...I love these guys and the magic they've created

“good food”
Reviewed 1 April 2012

Well known to locals for their bbq ribs. Lots of other choices too. Plus points for being open at lunch times as well as "off-season". Nice quiet location. Reasonable prices

“Excellent place in a quiet neighborhood”
Reviewed 14 January 2012

we heard about this from a friend who recently ate there and it was a great place. we walked from where we stayed (afonso guest house) and though it seems out of the way, it was well worth the walk. it's in a quiet neighborhood and you get to enjoy the music that they play.

the first time we went there we surprised at the quality of food and kept talking about it. we've been in india for about 4 months now and so having the tuna salad was a treat. my husband had the burder and really enjoyed it. we were convinced to get dessert (the serradurra) and it was good!

last night's dinner was a bit disappointing so we're going back there tonight! it's a great little place that should be recommended in travel books.
