“What a Great Surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 March 2012

We walked by this place everyday and I'm so glad someone at our hotel told us to try it. There are only a few tables but it is worth waiting for if you need to. The bread they offer to start is sublime. We had the catch of the day and pork and both were wonderful. All of the side dishes were well prepared with top notch ingredients.

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

This place is a little hard to find if you are not staying there, but well worth the search. My husband and I met some friends there for dinner. Everything was very good, service was great and the ambiance is very inviting. Give it a try!

“Amazing place for lunch!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2012

We stopped here after several recommendations. We went there mid afternoon and had the whole place to ourselves! The setting was perfect, a treehouse surrounded by jungle. We ordered the catch of the day, which was seabass. While we we sipping our drinks, Zak brought us a surprise appetizer - freshly baked coconut bread with butter. Warm, soft and unlike any bread we've had, delicious! Next came our lunch - a huge plate filled with salad, fresh plantain chips and seabass in a Thai marinade. I have never had a marinade like this - it was perfect. We even made a point to thank the chef when we went down to pay. A must do while in Roatan!

“A great spot for a special night out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 February 2012

We went to Lily Pond one rainy night to celebrate our friend's birthday and to have a special West End night out. We were not disappointed. We all had a marvellous meal rich with seafood. The food was well prepared and served promptly and elegantly. The breads are fantastic. We went back one day and bought some just for our use in the condo. We enjoyed the patio space and the casual environment. Zack is a great host and is friendly without being intrusive. We would go back again for sure. Highly recommended.

“Great food, atmosphere & service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

We had dinner & drinks at the Lily Pond on the last night of our stay in Roatan. The rum punch was made with fresh fruit and the fresh bread as an appetizer was fantastic. All 4 of us were happy with our meals and the price wasn't bad at all! The house itself is just a bit down past all the action in West End, which makes for a peaceful experience. We didn't stay at the Lily Pond but I peaked into a couple rooms and liked what I saw. We may plan to stay there the next time we are in Roatan. The overall service was excellent as well.
