We were there for 3 nights. We got a room in the top of the 'hotel' so the only window we had was a roof window with no view at all. The room was as big as a normal bathroom in other hotels - so imagine how little was the real bathroom. Breakfest - everything is disorganised, a lot of little things, but not that big of a deal. We couldnt pat the hotel with credt card and the reception guy was really rude. Plus the hotel locks down at 10 pm so if you forget your keys thats bad because nobody is working. And none of the rooms have a balcony.

Got a last minute "suite" in the middle of the summer at a rate of €150 for 3 persons. Whilst not impressed at the beginning, the hotel grew on me with every of the three days stayed. Unfortunately, there are no balconies. But breakfast is prepared with much love by the owners with some local delicacies and served on the sunny terrace. The beach and centre are a little walk away. Parking for about 5 cars in the car park at €5 a night. You're only charged if you get a spot. Better just park for free on the street towards the beach.

Rovinj is generally a reasonably priced destination, and this hotel was no exception. Driving to the hotel is helped greatly by signage directing you to the hotel, once you are within a few kilometers. In general, follow the signs for the Park hotel until you start seeing signs for the Vila Lili. The free parking is a few blocks away near an athletic field, which was fine. We always returned late in the day or the evening, and the parking lot was almost full, but a few spaces were always available.

The best part of the hotel was the breakfast. A wide tasty selection. Plenty of tables outside and inside. Our room was small. The shower was tiny, although I suspect par for the price range in the area. The bed was adequate. There was a safe in the room. The proprietor was helpful with questions and driving directions.

The hotel is within a decent walk from old town, about a kilometer. Maybe two KM's from the Cathedral. But the location of the hotel was convenient with a car. We drove to Pula one day, and Motovun the next. If I ever went back to Rovinj, I would consider staying here again.

Room Tip: Stay away for the cheapest room, as it is in the attic with only a skylight.

The owner was very nice, but the hotel in general seemed a bit tired. It was fine. The location was only okay. It was about a 15 minute walk into the old town, which was quite pleasant, but far enough that it wasn't easy to run back and forth. It seemed a bit pricey compared to the other places we stayed for what it was. Breakfast was only okay, and service wasn't great. Be sure to get good directions on how to walk to the beach. The one at the base of the big hotels isn't far.

My family of four stayed here in July and we had a lovely time. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and our boys loved the variety of choices at breakfast. It took us between 5 and 15 minutes to walk to the tourist areas, but it was flat and easy. We would definitely return.
