We had a great time staying at this beautiful hotel. Staff was nice, breakfast was fabulous and the rooms and amenities were beautiful.
Had the weather been nicer we would have joyed the fabulous pools and beach as well.
Location was very close to old town, in fact we walked back from dinner.

I stayed at the Monte Mulini in 2015 and have just returned a second time. The second time was as excellent as the first.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the lady on concierge last Saturday night (9th )and on Thursday (14th) (sorry I don't know her name). She was very helpful when I had difficulty choosing which excursions to go on and when the boat trip to Porec was cancelled she gave me useful information on the local buses so I could get there. She even looked out for me on return from my excursions to check I enjoyed them (which I did).

The food in both restaurants and both bars were excellent always, with a wide choice from the breakfast buffet, including fresh fruit, bread, meats and cheeses, pastries and cereals. Also hot food including omelettes and pancakes were available to order.

At the moment you can not walk along the sea front to the hotel due to construction work (which you can not hear from the hotel) but it is only a 5-10 minute walk into the old town along the main road. The taxi driver said the construction work is due to finish next year.

I usually only stay in one place once as I like to visit different places every holiday, but the Monte Mulini is so great I have already been twice and definitely hope to visit again in the future.

The Hotel Monte Mulini was built not too long ago and it shows.
Everything is modern and new. It is located on a quiet, tree lined bay facing away from Rovinj, so your view is of sailboats floating in the bay and forest. You have your coho ice of sunning on the beach of the multi-level pools. Ahh, the peace and quiet. However, you are not out in the middle of nowhere. It is an easy 30 minute walk to picturesque Rovinj---and its crowds of tourists. You can then escape back to the sanctuary of the hotel, whenever you wish. The hotel staff is friendly and very accommodating. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Dear speninosmith,

Thank you so much for your kind feedback and for recognizing that our most sacred part is peace. Of course there are periods when the whole area is little more busier than the other but nothing can compare enjoying luxury hotel together with nature, sailboats views, forest park and the clear sea... We are looking forward to see you again and let us know if you need more secret hideaway tips for Rovinj. Kindest regards and thank you one more time.

Probably best place and Hotel in Croatia. Excellent Hotel, excellent food and excellent overall service. Wunderful beach site and absolutely quiet during the night. Rooms are nice, but a bit small and some refurbishment would be necessary

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of August and was pleasing to be offered an upgrade with was great. The room overlooking the sea and pool was lovely. The staff (particular mention for Dino) were great. A couple of niggily points - the pool bar staff were a bit surly and drinks were of stingy portions. The fresh orange juice was literally two mouthfuls! Also there was a sign saying not to reserve sunbeds and that belongings would be removed after 2 hours. The pool staff seemed reluctant to do this so and I had to ask them to remove them (as we clocked the reservers from our balcony). The beach staff were a bit more on the ball and happy to remove stuff. Leaving that aside the hotel was really nice and impressive. Breakfast was lovely and food in the restaurant was very nice indeed. We had a room on the 3rd floor which was the same as reception and the highest floor and had a great view, comfy bed and huge bathroom. The Molton brown products and twice daily maid service was a nice touch of luxury.
