Got a cheap flight via Norwegian Air which was direct to Pula at some ungodly hour

Family naturism - very suitable for children - we didn't see any body jewellery in Sept - strictly no swingers evident

Hired a 2 bedroomed sea view apartment/room which was more than adequate but no kettle - very nice and compact with decent ensuite only a few feet from the beach and well worth paying the extra

Evening meal was Euros 5 per person and consisted of choice of 2 soups, buffet starter, buffet hot meal - normally chicken + 2 meat dishes + 1 fish - plenty of veggies and some form of veggy option, various cakes/fruit and ice cream. Breakfast included - again buffet and even down to rice milk in addition to cows milk. Very good value but much like a upmarket canteen - good value fresh food but lacked ambiance. Other restaurants on site but didn't visit them. Coffee bar/alcoholic bar open during day time for snacks

Photos are what they appear to be on website. Staff attentive and speak good English - decent sized and nice swimming pools. The distance of 4km of beach is accurate.

Bus stop on entrance to site but not sure where it goes. Shop selling souvineers/ grocers and decent variety of breads and veggies and fruit. Doctor on site and a spa/hairdressers etc.

My only slight nit picking comment is that I would have preferred a matress protector and it would have been nice to have had a kettle/coffee maker in the room. Yes we will be back and are delighted to recommend this wonderful place. Just hope that the naturism remains the same

Our sincerest thanks to the staff who were absolutely amazing and we would probably rate this naturist resort the best in Europe --- and we've seen most Naturist campsites/accommodation in Europe

Room Tip: seaview it is worth paying extra for otherwise you look out on to/rooms evening meal represents good...

Back again for a family stay in a Mobil home. Perfect place to relax, swim, walk, cycle all nude. With the sun shining, there is no need to dress to go outside the camp (although the supermarkets in Rovinj have a wider selection) but a cover up is needed for the shop or restaurant at Valalta.
Insect repellant is a good idea, the mosquitoes and ants are everywhere, especially late in the season. They have been exceptionally bad this year!
A great place, few British here, so it feels really European and very welcoming.

Our second stay at Valalta and as thoroughly relaxing as on the previous occasion. The site is big enough not to feel crowded and to provide opportunities for evening walks and strolls in the hills along the Lim fjord. We had the smallest apartment but did not find it claustrophic -- the patio are ensures this. Standards of cleanliness are high, noise non-existent, and the food both good, cheap and varied enough that we never cooked for ourselves. We enjoy snorkelling off the seaside shelves, and found the sea life more abundant than four years ago. Two spectacular electrical storms for entertainment but the daytime weather reliable. Several visits to Rovinj to shop, eat and stroll using the regular bus from the camp and an occasional taxi (100 kn), and a day out to Pula by bus -- crowded but we wanted to see the amphitheatre and forum again and are glad we did.

We did a short boat trip to Porec and back -- this really demands more time, there's much more to see than we managed. The basilica is really impressive.

Will visit again soon.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at Valalta. This is our third visit since 2011 and the resort facilities have been improved each time. The staff have always been friendly. The apartments are cleaned daily. It is a great resort for all ages. Even though this visit was at the beginning of September, air conditioning in the apartment was used a lot as the weather was hot and humid. Although the menus in the restaurants are the same as last year, the food is very good and the different restaurants offer plenty of choice. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: We have had an apartment on each of our 3 visits to Valalta. They are basic but adequate for a natur...

We only stayed one night due to small pitches, unfriendly check in staff ('You really want to stay here?' .... to be able to look for a vacant pitch you need to register first which occurs a fee too).
If you look for a relaxing time, don't go there.
If you need animation, kids play area then this is the place for you!
