I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone looking for a rural retreat yet within easy travelling distance of all that Istria has to offer.
The welcome afforded to us by Marija and Edo was second to none. We have travelled far and wide and never received such wonderful hospitality. From the welcome lunch to the homegrown fruit and vegetables and home brewed wine and grappa! It was all very much appreciated. We had alot of fun trying to bridge the language barrier.
The apartment is immaculate, comfortable and has everything you need to cater for yourself. The garden is peacful and the pool a joy to swim whilst you are surrounded by vines and a very well tended orchard and vegetable plot. You do need a car to experience everything that Istria has to offer since the vila is situated in a very rural area and we were only able to walk to one restaurant. We loved visiting the ancient hilltop towns, full of history and atmosphere and a visit to Pula to walk in the footsteps of gladiators at the amphiteatre is a must. We found travelling easy and nowhere is too far to go for a day-trip. It was always such a delight to return to our lovely oasis after a day of exploring. Pazin for shops, supermarkets and banks is only a short distance away.
A huge thanks to Zeeshan too for showing us his family home and village and sharing his hospitality - even if we did receive a telling off from Edo for being late back! Marija asked us to write in the visitors book and asked for any complainants - we had absolutely none!
Our holiday to Istria will always remain amongst our favourites largely due to the week we spent at Marija and Edo's villa.

Just out of Tinjan, we stayed in a cosy upstairs villa / apartment, above our hosts. Friendly from the outset, Edo and Marija made us feel right at home with a smile and plenty of home grown generosity.
The town is nicely placed in the centre of Istria, with beaches and inland sights all within 30 to 40 minutes drive.
The apartment is not big, but has everything you need and suited our family of four ( kids10 & 12 yrs old) and with Istria on your door step - there is no need to stay inside. Nice clean pool and pleny of space for the kids for the kids to roam. Nice balcony to take in the stunning sunsets also.

We had a lovely week here, the apartment was well equipped and clean. Marija and Edo were wonderful hosts. We would love to stay again. It was the perfect base to explore Istria

We stayed for a week and loved everything. The apartment is gorgeous and fully equipped. Quiet surroundings, perfect base for visiting the Istrian peninsula. We made full use of the swimming pool. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Speaking German with owners is an advantage. Owners son speaks english.
