We had the overall impression that the management of this Hotel had lost it's desire to provide even a facsimile of adequate service. The room was somewhat dated and the TV positively antique.
Whoever fancies breakfast with stone-hard, half-frozen eggs, one choice of cheapest bologna, stale cereal, soda instead of orange juice, and bread arranged and laid out barehanded by the personnel, has come to the right place.
Standing directly in front of the room door were the service carts, making it difficult to move the luggage into the room.
The absolute disaster occurred when we turned out the lights...
The AC was defective so it was necessary to open the windows to refresh the stale humid air in the room. This allowed a swarm of mosquitos to invade the room. I can't remember having had such a miserable night. I slept a total of perhaps 3 hours and ended up with dozens of welts.
Hearing our complaints the management granted a reduction in price of only 5%.
We were able to find infinitely better accommodations for far less cost during our entire stay in Croatia.

I've been in this hotel several times and I think it is a very good option and value for money. It is a 3 star so don't expect more than that but you have an option all-inclusive with the food being always served as buffet which is very nice. It is two steps away from the beach and it can get very crowded during high season. Off the peak season is just a little paradise. The rooms are not big but they have the essentials (including a small fridge). It's comfortable and the staff is friendly.

Really good for small pre-season business conference. All inclusive food good. Very close to small beach.

We get a last minutes offer to this hotel for a family with two children (8 and 10 years old). When we arrived, the receptionist was surprised that we have two children...!? In the room there was one only one double bed and a camp bed. They tried to put an additional camp bed to the room, but it was only possible the way to push the beds till the walls and in the middle you had only approx. 50 cm to move. When we would not like to accept the room they just said that they are overbooked and can not offer from bigger room. Attention, this is a tricky hotel with reservations and not at all family friendly! Tirvol family

Hotel Colentum is the only hotel in Murter, It is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. All rooms have airconditioning. It has a small saltwater pool which is nice as the small sandy beach right in front of the hotel is very crowded. It is a bit outside of the little village of Murter and just too far to walk. We order half-board as it was only 5 Euro difference to the bed and breakfast option. Most people had the All Inclusive and this hotel in normally booked for a whole week and in the package deals they include excursions to Kornati and Sibenik. The buffet dinner was suprisingly good. Grilled fish, seafood risotto, but also pasta and grilled meat. Relativly large salad buffet as well with fresh tomatoes, peppers and red onions. I don't think I want to stay there for a week but for a stop over during our trip thour croatia it was very nice.
