Located in a quiet street in the old town of Hvar, this house and the owner, Nebojsa, gave us a very warm welcome during our stay on the island.
The property is laid out over 4 floors with a Bogainville-plant raking on the outside from bottom to the top. The top floor terrace with fire place and the views over the old town and the sea are main assets, but the rooms are also very quiet, clean and cosily arranged with intriguing objects.
The large living and dining room with the open and well-equipped kitchen on the first floor are great for cooking extensive meals amongst friends. We also spent hours on the roof terrace grilling and dining after sunset.
Charming Nebojsa has vast knowledge of the area and happily gave us advice, with some hints for excursions off the beaten track.
The house lies a few steps from the main square and cathedral and is very close to the harbor and market place. We stayed during high season in July, yet this back street is luckily not frequented by the large and loud crowds roaming the harbor area in that season.
All in all we had a great time in Nebojsas house and will definitely book again next time on Hvar!
