Description: P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum, hand chop and slice all vegetables and meats, handcraft every sauce and wok-cook each recipe, every day in every restaurant using fresh ingredients. With roots in Chinese cooking, the culinary landscape at P.F. Chang's now stretches across Asia with diverse, culturally inspired recipes including hand-rolled sushi, Vietnamese-style soups and bowls, traditional Chinese dim sum, wok-fired chicken and beef entrees, and family style noodles and rice. All made from scratch every day.

I eat here because a family member loves it. You can tell it is a chain restaurant, but still, above average. The lettuce wraps are an excellent appetizer. Most of the entrees are good, but have too much salt or soy sauce already in the dishes. Too many great Chinese restaurants in Birmingham to go here on a regular basis.

You are able to tell from the moment you walk in.. someone is in charge who knows their stuff. A true professional restauranteur has to be in charge here. Staff are responsive, friendly, engaging and prompt, down to little details. They are knowledgeable about the menu and offer adaptations to dietary limits.
Applause and bravo! They should CLONE whoever is managing! Our second visit, and we will gladly return.

Mother's Day dinner was great! The management was prepared for a large crowd. I've never seen so many waiters and waitresses in a restaurant. We were told we had a 30 minute wait, but our wait was only 10 minutes. Our waitress was very attentive. We never had to call upon her for refills. The salt and pepper were not on the table and seemed a task finding both lol. Our appetizers, drinks, and our entree were hot when served.

Seating options:
Patio seating under umbrella adorned tables, cozy corner seating, booth seating, tables, and bar seating.

Alcohol is served and I loved having a choice of silverware or chopsticks on the table.
Couples large groups and small parties can be accommodated. Mid price range here but worth every cent as food proportions are large. We enjoyed the Strawberry Lemonade and Spring Rolls with an Asian Caesar Salad, Kung Pao Chicken with Shrimp and white rice, and Pepper Steak with brown rice.

Before leaving we received a drink to go and our leftovers were packed and bagged for us. Thanks for the awesome service and food! More importantly thanks for being prepared for large crowds on a holiday.

I have eaten here numerous times and have always enjoyed my meal. My sister and I decided on lunch and were well pleased. They were busy but we were seated immediately at a nice table by the window with a nice view. Our server, Tom, did a great job. We began with Bloody Mary's which were quite good. We both ordered a cup of hot and sour soup, I always have to order this soup, oh so good. Then the shrimp with lobster sauce for entrees. The shrimp was very good, sauce just right.
It does get noisy when there are a lot of customers, it was Sunday so very busy.
We both enjoyed our meal and Tom did a really good job continuing to check on us.
Will return.
