I was recommended this place by a few expats living in Yangshuo. The sign is in Chinese, so it can be tricky to find. I uploaded a photo of the front entrance. It is on Guihua Street (walking street near West Street) across the street from the entrance to Xi Jie Foreign Language School. It is the smaller restaurant sandwitched between two larger restaurants (one of which is on the corner of the alley that goes off Guihua Street. It has large menus with pictures hanging up in front (in both Chinese and English).
The food was good. I don't eat meat, and they had a decent selection of veggie stuff, including 5 different types of tofu. I asked them to prepare my food without MSG or too much salt and they did a great job of accommodating my request.
The service was good. The waitress was friendly and spoke a little English. The food came out fairly fast.
The ambience was simple with patio seating and good for people watching. The prices were moderate but fair, with the veggie dishes costing around 20rmb and the meat dishes being more.
Overall I enjoyed eating there and would visit again. A number of local expats frequent this place, so that says something to the quality and consistency.
