Located just across the bus station to get to Huangshan, this is very convenient when getting back from the mountain.
There are plenty of restaurants around, but the one attached to the hotel is ok but overpriced.
As the hotel was very busy we got a room upgrade so we do not have much to complain about. The room we got was a suite with a lounge area, a majian table, a desktop pc, 2 tvs, one double bed and a very large bathroom. It was very comfortable.
The cleanliness was very good, we did not spot anything but the room could do with a little more maintaining as some of the fixtures start looking old. The main let down was the heavy cigarette smell when we got in. It took about an hour of ventilating to get rid of it.
The breakfast was ok. Chinese breakfast with multiple choice of porridges, buns... no problem of availability or quantity just a question of taste (if you like this kind of breakfast).More
