We stayed 4 nights at the Huangshan Golf Resort and it was just an ok experience.
Price- Around $50/night the price is very good.
Staff- Friendly and especially if you say Ni Hao.
Rooms- There is plenty of room with amenities and the water pressure works well with a lot of hot water.
Grounds- As it is a golf resort, the grounds are well kept and very green
Rooms-It is NOT a 5 star hotel even though it is advertised as one. The rooms are dated and need TLC. There was a smell in the room when we first walked in. I didn’t have a refrigerator and the amenities only include tea and no coffee.
Food- While there is a mix of Chinese and Western food, the menu never changed in the 4 night’s stay.
Location – The streets near the hotel are under construction and getting in and out of the hotel is nightmarish. It is a ways to markets, attractions etc…
It wasn’t a horrible stay but it wasn’t a memorable one. I’d look around for something newer and closer to attractions if I was in the area again.More
