The location is perfect, in the heart of the town, where you can walk around and find a lot of beautiful colonial building. As well the hotel itself, there is a souvenirs boutique where you can find something interesting.

The hotel would be perfect for traveler for seeking to stay in a unique design and comfort. A vintage concept of Indochina, where you can find unique lifestyle of the period.

Owners Robert and Morrison have created a cozy luxury home, rather than a boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived, when we were given fresh towels and a complimentary drink seated in front of a street black board with our names and a welcome note scribbled on it, we knew this was something else. The room was the perfect mix of comfort and Indochinese vintage imagination, and filled every night with good vibes. Did I say that you can choose to have your breakfast served in bed? We opted for the scenic views over the old town waking up in the morning, which were perfect to savor the fresh cafe au lait and locally sourced jams.

There is one complimentary happy hour drink to be consumed daily on the ground floor at Libation, their annexed wine bar. My jack and coke and Negroni were great, as it was the Cheese Platter - the most authentic slab of sultry cheese I had in Cambodia.

All the staff is very well trained and will entertain guests with singing, flute playing and a lot of amiable chatter. Kudos to the effort of training these guys to this level of engagement with guests.

What to say? Come as a guest and leave as part of a family is the feeling here... such an amazing place to experience the old town of Battambang.

We had a lovely 2 days at Bric a Brac with Robert, Morrisson and the team at Bric a Brac. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived and were sad to leave 2 days later. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Evening drinks at Libations were a highlight and being serenaded by the local staff with local ballads.
Great to see Robert and Morrisson develop the local youngsters. Morrison and Robert had suggestions on what to do and where to eat and then organised it all for us.
Should have stayed longer - will be back

We spent 2 nights at the Bric-a-Brac and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. From the moment we arrived Morrison was there to assist in whatever needs or questions we had. His knowledge of the area guided us to great restaurants(from street food to chic restaurants, country tour, and even things to hit Siem Reap). The rooms, gift shop, and patio area are all artsy, tastefully decorated areas fun to hang out in. We enjoyed our nightly cocktail with them and the staff who either sang or played the flute- charming. The location is great for just sitting back and viewing Battambang life. Around the corner is Jaan Bai restaurant (excellent!), the bar Miss Wong(a must as well), and Lonely Tree Café. Breakfast was excellent- a tray of breads, jams, and excellent coffee to enjoy, all thoughtfully chosen and prepared. Truly- this place should not be missed on your Cambodian itinerary!
