Truly a 5 * place; from the wonderful rooms to the idyllic setting and the delicious food they are a serving at the restaurant, which is also available for non-guests.

They can also help with organising your tour into Cambodia . One of the Dutch partners is also running Cambodian Travel Partners, a travel agency that comes highly recommended.

Try to book this resort because it's the best.

Battambang Resort is a beautiful and wonderful gem just outside the city center. After scouting several potential venues in the area for our wedding reception we choose Battambang Resort based upon the beautiful grounds and great menu they offered. Planning our wedding with them was a dream. They could not have made it easier while we corresponded from the U.S. Jan was incredibly quick and responsive and so helpful with all of our questions. In turn he asked a lot of great questions himself to make sure that the wedding would go smoothly. When we arrived they greeted us with unparalleled hospitality and kindness. They were so incredibly generous and even surprised us with custom lights spelling out our names and wedding date across their awesome pool. All of our guests could not stop raving about the staff. Jan’s wife, Phary, even took one of guests to the hospital after he injured himself on a motorbike before the wedding. The grounds are absolutely stunning. Even my normally skeptical father deemed it as a beautiful “secret garden.” Every single detail was perfect.

Everyone we interacted with - Jan, Phary, Pharath, the entire staff - are amazing individuals and we are so happy that we choose this lovely family-run resort as the setting for our wedding.

We stayed fir 2 nights in Battambang Resort and enjoyed it very much! They organised a trip to the Phare Circus whuch we liked very much. We also did a tuk tuk tour to the local handicrafts in the morning and to the killing caves and bat caves in the afternoon. Between the visits, you return to your hotel for lunch and a refreshing dive in the pool! A perfect organisation. Staff is very friendly, food delicious! We forgot one of our suitcases and they transferred it to our next hotel. Top service. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We absolutely adored the Battambang Resort. Everything is absolutely top notch, 5* quality, yet it's so relaxing and friendly. It's like staying with friends who really know their hospitality. We had connected garden view rooms for our family of four which was perfect. For a moment there was a gasp of horror that there was no TV but the tween daughter was soon engrossed in exploring the garden, lying in the hammock reading and playing in the beautiful pool. We loved that the friendly owners took the time to introduce themselves and we particularly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of waiter Lyna, he's a real gem. Beware if you're trying to watch your weight, the breakfast here is outstanding. Set up in a long wooden boat (cute) breakfast has everything you'd expect, noodles, fried rice, eggs to order but what makes this so special is that everything is super fresh, home made and home grown. Rice and veggies are from the garden, juice is whizzed up to order, the potato rosti and baked tomatoes are flavour explosions, the homemade dragonfruit jam positively addictive and best of all is the homemade muesli bread, this stuff is just ridiculously good we must have eaten a loaf everyday (chef says the secret is the butter, but hey, it has muesli in it so it's healthy right?). We were prepared for higher restaurant prices at the resort but it was actually remarkably good value as the food was of such a high standard that it was well worth it. Banana spring rolls were a real treat. Our favourite Cambodian hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights to see the local area and visit Battambang. Rooms are in a wonderful serene garden, without TV, which was really great to relax.

Do visit the hotels vegetable garden, eat lunch at the restaurant, since food offer is truly varied and take the complimentary shuttle bus to go to the city.

Staff are 5 star, they endeavour to exceed your needs, which is truly humbling, as we were picky breakfast eaters. Hotel offers local tour guides, bikes for free, you are truly spoilt.

Having seen the local offer, I strongly recommend that you stay only there!
