The hotel is situated just on the water front close to major sightseeing points and the beach.
Our rooms were very clean and the staff is so nice. They did everything to help us and to make our stay as plesant as possible.
Try the restaurant also. You get a discount if you are a guest in the hotel.
Highly recomended.

Standing on the concrete cliff in front of the "White House" restaurant, I close my eyes halfway and leave the memory of that time when Ion Pillat lived here, and Cella Delavrancea recited the poems to my friends until late at night. Even though I'm angry at the current owner who cut this year the old cherry on the restaurant's terrace, I sit at a table and wait for a coffee, contemplating the gentle light of Balchik and the sea. It's good that he did not demolish the gorgeous villa, built according to the plans of the architect Henrieta Delavrancea-Gibory, as did the "neighbors" who have demolished the complex of Los Dos Gallos (Two cocks) villas and will probably pick up a strange, hideous hotel without personality. . .
What's left of what was the old Balch now? Nothing. Just the garden of Queen Maria and the Lonely Nest. . We come here for 20 years, but the next year we will return to Mamaia, we do not attract anything to Balchik.

Room tip: each room has a sea view

We stayed at this family hotel for 5 nights. Spacious rooms and good furniture.
Our only remark is that the chambermaids forgot to enter in the bathroom. The staff is friendly.A liitle bit difficult to find a parking.
