“One of the best restaurants in the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2012 via mobile

Everything is amazing. Go at lunchtime and with an empty stomach, because you will eat a lot. Dont go for the great salad bar, focus on the mouth watering meat. "costella premium, picanha and asado ancho" are heavenly. The pao de queijo is the best in Sao Paulo, the fried bananas and the polenta as side dishes are a must. And of course, the fried mozarella. Dessert? I dont know, I've never had the space to try it. If you ever go to Brazil and you dont go, you will regret it. A+

And it really is true, and it never goes down in quality. You just see by the face of the customers how happy everyone is. I love this restaurant-

“The meat is absolutely scrumptious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2012

Traveling on business in Sao Paulo, Brazil I wanted to experience dining at a real Brazilian steakhouse, so we asked the concierge at the hotel and he recommended Fogo de Chao. As you walk into the restaurant you see a huge spit with roastin meat - the smell is absolutely heavenly. The salad bar is amazing with items that range from sushi to a huge wheel of parmesan cheese...and then the meat begins! Waiters, dressed as gauchos, proceed to parade around the dining room with large skewers of meat. There is every cut of beef, lampb, pork, chicken (even chicken hearts), and the taste of all is divine. Your glass is never empty (although you don't notice this until you get the bill). They deliver other items as well, the baked bananas were to die for. Please note, this is NOT a cheap meal but I firmly believe you get what you pay for. This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
