A standard stop on a street art tour of Sao Paulo, it's very attractive, lots of flowers, hummingbirds, and vivid colors that photograph nicely. It is not as "edgy" as other urban art areas and lacks the wicked humor and political bite of some other sites -- with the exception of the Feast of Democracy panel at the end which is very powerful indeed. We did, however, greatly enjoy meeting artists who were actively painting. We even purchased one of the intricately painted spray cans from Local Art gallery. Rolling papers available here too.
