“probably the best partyhostel in sao paulo!!”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

I stayed here for one week in February after Carneval, i had a great time because

the staff was very nice and provides u with anything you need (i mean really anything ^^)
the place is cool (green's my favourite color xD)
the location is perfect, a nice and safe neighbourhood,
and the parties are just awesome!!!

here just some suggestions to make it even better:

get a better program to manage your rooms, check-ins and outs etc,
teach gringo some manners,
get some hammocks and give out more free capirinhas!!! =)

thanks

I stayed at Limetime Hostel in early January, and I must say, I had an amazing experience! The whole place was very clean, comfortable, and had a very great atmosphere. All the receptionists were friendly and helpful, and Bebeto made sure we all had fun exploring the Sao Paulo nightlife! I would definitely recommend if you want to stay at a reasonably priced place with a great location!!

I am a junior at Harvard University and I was here fro a school program which consisted of 15 Harvard students mentoring and teaching 15 brazilian hs students. In total, there were 30 program participants and we had THE BEST experience ever!

When I first learned that I would be staying in a hostel, I was pretty sad to say the least. Hostels invoke sketchiness of all sorts; creepy foreigners, fugitives and pedophiles. While LimeTime had its occasional creeper, the atmosphere they created was fun, safe and inviting. You should also know that LimeTime is located in a very affluent neighborhood, so crime is virtually non-existent. The staff is all young and fun and if you need somewhere to go, they will hook you up with FREE entry into Sao Paulo's hottest nightclubs. The owner is very well connected, so get on his good side and you will have a fabulous time. The lady who cooks breakfast is so sweet to us and it really starts to feel like home in there. The Hostel has free video games, movies and music to keep you entertained as well. For females, there is a "female only" bathroom on the first floor to ensure your privacy and protection. I honestly could not support this establishment enough. As a young woman and first time Latin America traveler, I was spoiled by this experience and I do not look forward to staying in other hostels that most likely could never compete with this one.

Room Tip: No tip really, but perhaps the less people, the less people you have to worry about. I like the firs...

Really liked this hostel, easy to find, clean and really friendly. The dorm rooms were fairly spacious and I loved that the bottom bunks had privacy curtains which you could pull shut if you wanted to sleep.

The staff were amazingly friendly and they're only lucky I didnt take Gringo with me!

The hostel has a great location for everything. The whole hostel is clean and is set out in a great way that you cannot avoid meeting friendly people. Even on days when I weren't staying at the hostel the owner and staff who were so friendly and helpful from the first day I stayed welcomed me and a friend to join in with the arranged party plans anyway. Great atmosphere, great staff, yes it's a party hostel but they do provide earplugs and the party continues on to a club rather than inside the hostel so you can definitely sleep. They have some food for breakfast but not a proper spread, but compared to another Sao Paulo hostel I stayed at that did have breakfast, I'd rather stay at LimeTime for it's awesome character. Made great friends there. I'll certainly be back!
