“Great Location”
Reviewed 28 August 2012

I stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment, on 12th floor. It was clean and spacious. The bathroom was large, rooms had openable windows, and the balcony was usable. The kitchenette was actually namesake. It had a really small refrigerator, an equally small sink, a microwave and some basic utensils/cutlery. The biggest advantage is the location of the apartments. It is located in a relatively safe area, next to Hotel Renaissance near Pauliusta. The 'champs-elysees' of Sao Paulo - rua oscar freire is just a few blocks away, taxi stand at the entrance, and metro station is just a few steps away. There are plenty of restaurants and super markets around. Overall, a reasonably good stay.

The large studios at Matiz are clean, homy and have good value for an expensive city like SP.

Lcation is excellnt for Business (near Av. Paulista).

Staff is not top, a bit too quiet.

But it's really basically about the nice size of the room, living room, bathroom and balcony even.

If you are looking for a hotel to freshen up before or between flights without paying too much then this is the place for you, only a short distance from the airport, rooms are reasonable and clean, the shower great, bed is soft (perhaps too much), the pillows hard, noisy during the day, shuttle at fixed times from Airport and free him, free WI FI connection in the lobby with a reasonable connection, rooms with Internet connection only via cable to your laptop.
This is definitely the place to freshen up at a reasonable price.
If you arrive just a few hours - Go to the spa at Terminal 2

Acceptable hotel with good location between Ave Paulista and the upscale Jardim Paulista district. Staff is helpful but very few speak english or spanish, so communication can be a challenge. Rooms are clean and comfortable, recently remodeled with goal of urban chic but done on the cheap, so result is a little tacky. Not cheap, but a good price relative to other options in the zone.

I booked for 14 days. I left after 3 days.
It's a shabby building that has been turned into a hotel. Probably 2 stars.
Rooms are less than basic. Bed is uncomfortable. One window was missing. Staff don't speak English. Expensive. No value for money. They market it as a hotel. It isn't. Kids do drag racing in their cars on the street until 01:00.
Didn't get much sleep.
I left as soon as I could.
