the room I had on the fourth floor was very spacious but outdated. The decor is very much 1970s. The bed also feels like it was made In that decade and the towels as well. There are no double glazed windows and as the hotel is on a busy road it is quite noisy. On the plus side the free wifi excellent and the hotel is near some great pubs and restaurants

I stayed at this hotel for the last 10 days. Nice friendly hotel with staff very Helpful. Flavio at the front desk is really a gem and very helpful and speaks very good english. Other staff also very nice and courteous. The breakfast is good and they work with you if you have special needs. The gym could use some improvement and if the hotel can provide iron for clothes that will be a plus. Otherwise a fantastic hotel and best in Sao carlos since I have stayed at other hotels and this is the best!!

Stayed here last week while working at UFSCar. A good base - in a not too noisy part of the topwn, and with plug sockets that work for US adaptors - Brazil otherwise has rather odd plugs! Nice restaurant on site, lots of fresh fruit for breakfast.

This is a rundown hotel that is in more than one way in a bad shape. I am not only talking about the building which is in definite need for some refurbishment, but also in other ways, things are not quite right. Hardly anyone is able to speak English, to start with. The internet is patchy and the connection is often broken. The rooms are basic and unimpressive. The minibar prices are easily those of the Ritz Carlton in New York City - that not even a plain bottle of water is available is embarrassing. The food is barely acceptable, but by no means spectacular, and moreover expensive. There is no feature of the hotel that impressed me in any way.

It is an OK hotel for a short business trip - a night or two to stay in. The rooms are OK, a bit dated and in need of renovation but clean and good otherwise. The breakfast was good - good choice to kick start the day, lots of fruit. The staff are very nice and helpful - great chats with the bartender and a very nice capirinha as a result of them.
