More of a museum than a church now (although still used as a church) but worth a visit, particularly as Paraty only has a few places to visit (as opposed to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants)

The whole city is full of history! But it is nice to stop on spots as churches to value this kind of beauty

This church is very simple from the "Barroco" period if im not wrong. Is tall inside u can see peace. is very quiet beautiful construction, after years of restoration now she is opened for the public. Its opened for visitation in some hours better check on line.

This cathedral is of XVIII century,... located close to the channel of Parathy, on the north side, in front of a square. The are some images of saints dated of XVII, XVIII and XIX century. In June they have a big celebration in honor of Corpus Christi. There is a procession with the same name, when all natives are involved, as well tourists. The architecture is very nice. If you are in Parathy this time, can not fail to see

I loved loved loved the area and the beautiful and picturesque old town, recently flooded, but this little church was both boring and ordinary.
