We stayed here for two nights. It is located just off the beach and is about a 10 minute walk from the boat drop off.

The owner was very welcoming. Check in was quick and simple. The rooms were small and you could here everything through the walls. The views however were amazing from the balcony of our room, beautiful to wake up too. Breakfast was a good variety, scrambled egg, breads, meats cheeses and a good selection of fruits. Afternoon tea is also offered. The reception area / dining space is small but big enough. WiFi was intermittent. There are several restaurants and bars close by.

My only frustration throughout the stay was the house cat, for those that don’t like cats or are allergic it wasn’t ideal. The minute we opened our door it was there trying to get in to the room. If it wasn’t at the front door it was on the balcony first thing with it’s bell rubbing against the shutters endlessly. If you are on the balcony the doors need to be open so the cat would want to then enter the room.

This pousada was perfect for our stay in Ilha Grande. The hosts were very friendly, and spoke very good English. They helped us to book boat tours around the island and recommended good places to eat. The rooms are simple but have stunning views. Breakfast and afternoon tea with very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: All rooms have great view.

The Pousada is located just outside the center of the village (10 min walk) , but several good dining options close. The French hosts are very nice and explain a lot. The rooms are nice but small. Breakfast/reception area is small but cosy. Very good breakfast and sweets and coffee in the afternoon.

I can’t rate Pousada Naturalia highly enough for what it offers. Laurent, the owner, and Beatrice at reception were so unbelievably friendly and helpful with suggestions for what to do in the area. The room was very nice with a stunning view from the balcony. It was like being in paradise. The Pousada was a short walk from the main town which was nice as it was quieter. There are bars and restaurants dotted along the beach too which were very nice to stop in for a drink. Breakfast each morning was beautiful. There was a wide selection of fruit, cold meats and cheeses. There was also scrambled egg available and a choice of different breads. The juices were freshly made also. Pousada Naturalia offers exceptional value for money for what it offers. We were very sad to depart. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We stayed here for two nights on our short trip to Ilha Grande and absolutely adored every minute - the rooms were awesome, the views in the morning one of the best you’ll see in the world and staff amazing. Our French host gave us fantastic suggestions for two hikes and on the second day we hiked over to Dois Rios and would 100% recommend - the most amazing beach with only 4 people on the 3km stretch.

As a point for the owners you may want to offer providing lunches for the hikers as if they were as good as the breakfast and afternoon tea I’m sure it could be a little money spinner.

Thanks again, we had a great time!
