As far as I read the comments, it seems that this happened before.
We booked this hotel and emailed a lot to book the transportation from the airport.
They didn't reply. We tried to cancel the
booking but it was declined. Finally we got reply through travel agency.

BUT they didn't book our room. At the midnight when we arrived at the hotel, we (and other people) were told to move to another hotel, which rank is worse. I read the reviews and this happened before so that they may purposely do this.

The personel is friendly and the rooms are clean. On the other hand, it needs a makeover. What was a big setback however is the fact they forgot to pick us up at the airport and even refused to help because we didn't speak Portugese, but just put down the phone. So we were waiting for more than 1 hour in the middle of the night with 2 small children and finally took a cab.

This hotel is ideal if you want a place to stay to explore the falls. It is close to both the airport and everything you could possible want to see. It is not expensive and overall it met our need of providing a base. Even though there are good bits to this hotel, there are a lot of negatives. However for one to two nights it is worth the stay.

The Good:
- Great location for the price.
- Ease in organising trips from the onsite tour desk.
- Aircon is good.

Negative Points:

- Had booked 'pick-up at the airport'. They weren't there to meet us. Had to call the hotel to come pick us up.
- Even though booked via Booking.com, they struggled to find out booking. We arrived at 7pm and our room was not ready.
- Receptionist speaking English is hit or miss. You may end up doing a bit of pointing and hand-waving or waiting for someone who does speak English to turn up.
- Woken up at 4am by a wake-up call we didn't schedule.
- Overcharged on our check out bill. Make sure you check.
- Asked about mosquitoes in the area, they said they don't really get them in the hotel. I was bitten that evening.

- No in room safe. There is a safe at reception but it's a complete faff.
- WiFi was so poor that it was borderline useless.
- The room had a lot of ants walking around the wall. We left them well alone and they left us well alone. But some maintenance work here is needed.
- Bed sheets were torn and in need of replacing.
- Very noisy at night. A lot of noise from the hallway.

- Poor breakfast choice.
- Waiters are not attentive and are very slow.
- There is a play area in the evening eating area - this is beyond annoying and needs to go. Kids are allowed to run riot while parents look on.

- Needs a clean.

Room tip: Make sure you ask to be on the top floor

The room was not comfortable plus poor sound proofing.
The hotel definitely needs some renovation.
The airport pick up is good, though, and the breakfast is not bad either.
However, I consider it expensive considering what you get.

When I reserved ,they said they can pick up us at airport.

But, they didn't answer us ,after we reserved.
We were sooo disappointed.

We contacted again and again, many times by email.

I can't understand why they did.

If someone of this hotel see my comment ,you should reply my email.
