Stayed for 1 night after visiting Iguaçu falls and before flying to Rio. The pousada is a small guest house but our room was large with a double and two single beds although there were only two of us. The air conditioning was good and the room and bathroom were clean. There was also a full mini bar in the room. The swimming pool was good. Breakfast was included and the freshly squeezed orange juice was especially nice and plentiful.

Stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Don't opt for a generic chain hotel, choose this rustic quaint pousada for genuine friendly hospitality.

Rooms were average size, always clean and fresh, comfortable beds and good air con. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice including various cakes and biscuits, scrambled egg, breads, fruit, spreads and freshly squeezed juices. Only the hostess spoke English but was great with making restaurant reservations and helping with getting to the national parks. All staff were always friendly and smiling. Pool area was nice for a bit of relaxation.

Location is ideal in Centro, near to restaurants, bus stops and the bus terminal. It's easy to get to both sides of the falls using public transport, saving quite a bit of money over organised tours. For the Brazilian side walk along Avenue Republica Argentina to the bus terminal and catch the 120 to Aeroporto/P Nacional. For the Argentinian side catch the Puerto Iguazu bus from behind the bus terminal (be sure to get off to clear immigration at the Brazilian & Argentinian customs in both directions). From Puerto Iguazu terminal, take the Rio Uruguay bus to Cataratas. Make sure you get some Argentinian Pesos in advance, good rates from the Cambios on Av Brasil just off Avenue Republica Argentina.

Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone for an authentic stay in a very welcoming Pousada.

I can say enough good about this pousada! The hosts are gracious, helpful, friendly and fun, as are the two girls who work at the pousada. Rooms are excellent - clean, comfortable beds, good air con, large bathrooms, etc. The breakfast is one of the best I've seen in Brazil. The pool is beautiful. The internet is strong. They even did two loads of laundry for me at no charge, and if you've travelled in Brazil a bit you'll appreciate what a help this is!! The location is a 5 minute walk to a shopping centre (for convenient supermarket, currency exchange, coffee, etc), 10 minute walk to good restaurants, and 15 minute walk to the bus terminal for busses to the airport, dam, falls, etc. It's a perfect pousada in all respects. Look no further.

Fernanda and Mario and their whole family made us feel very welcome. Rooms are comfortable with everything you need. Fernanda went out of her way to help us with our own driver to both sides of the falls and the airport. Our departure was a very early one however she made sure we were awake and ready to go on on time. Location is quiet and close to shops and restuarants. Breakfast was great with lots to choose from. They can arrange to have clothes laundered and ironed for return the next day at reasonable rates. Would definately stay here again if we ever get to come back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the shared living area if you need a little more quiet.

Nice and clean, very small room but with all you need. Close to shopping mall with lots of stores and food court. Also close to the bus terminal with busses to the waterfalls on both Argentinian and Brazilian side. The breakfast buffét was one of the best on our trip. With scrambled eggs, different kind of cakes bread and things to have on your bread. Fresh fruit, several fruit drinks and excellent coffee. The family was very friendly and helpful.

We took the local bus to both places, it was very convenient and also cheaper and a nice experience. Highly recommended. The bus stop for Argentina is outside but close to the Bus terminal. Another advantage by taking the local bus is that it bypasses the queue for crossing the border. :)
