The new thermal pools at the bottom of the property were nice. We spent all our time down there.
The top pools were tired and dirty.
The hotel and the rooms are tired and need a massive face lift.
The restaurant is over priced and nothing special.

The center of this hotel are the pools with hot spring waters, pretty good. That is good but the hotel is showing signs of aging and renovation efforts were modest. Also staff is not always trained and they suffered shortage of supplies from sodas to ice cream (Labor Day holiday). The breakfast and dinner were OK, I expected a better quality (lots of canned/ processed food). But the thing that upset me was the constant harassing of the staff trying to sell a time-share apartment. Was a terrible experience? NO, would I return? Probably not.

Pros: outstanding child entertainment staff. If you need a respite, you can leave the kids with the staff all day; they’ll be fed and entertained. Location. Near the entrance to the Iguassu Falls Park, with a sizable shopping mall across the street.
Cons: crowded and noisy. Moldy room (a serious drawback- we’re all allergic). Buildings need renovation. Wifi does not extend to all the grounds and has poor reception even inside the buildings. Room cleaning not up to standard. Overall, a negative experience, crowned by having been locked out of our room (we paid for late checkout, but nobody told us we had to have the card key changed).

Great service always provided when needed. The hotel Wi-fi was working poorly, making it harder to use it inside the rooms. The hotel deserves some renovations in the rooms and in the restaurant, which is pretty loud and crowded.

It is a great hotel, the hot springs make the swimming pool/beach perfect for kids, mine loved it. The lake is nice to fish and walk... The only two minor comments are that the food is not top one... sort of repetitive. And our rom smelled moldy at the first 1 or 2 days, but it was a great stay.
